Middlemen starts tonight on ABC Family. Check local listings.

I haven't read the comic but the show looks fun.

From the commercials I can only tell it's about a guy in a suit with a probe.

The first episode was pretty good! It was just like the comic and it was pretty funny. The actor they have playing the middleman was perfect as well, the middleman. Wendy was great as well, and a latina hottie. :)

Looking forward to next episode!

Also, I love the comic book references:

Middleman: "Do you read comics?"

Wendy: "yeah, Powers, ( a bunch of comics I cant remember), and flash."

Middleman: ".........Barry Allan or Wally west?"

Wendy: "Do you..want me to leave?"

Haha great.

I missed the show tonight :( D'Oh! I wish I woulda checked Outhouse earlier to see your thread.
I'm hard-pressed to believe the budgets at ABC Family can come anywhere near to living up to the comic?!? Hmmm.

I really loved the comics. Really loaded w/ over-the-top special efx, fun & humor. Middleman & Empowered are my fave b&w books.

BTW, there's a new Middleman omnibus-type collection of the handful of mini-series that was solicited the Previews before last. I highly recommend it to anyone interested - I ordered it myself - despite already having the minis (something I rarely do anymore these tight financial days).

Anyways, I hope they replay it. I'll go to the ABC Family website & see if I can catch it.

Surprisingly, the special effect werent that bad. The monster at the beginning looked hookey, but it didnt really bug me. the gorillas with the mafia clothes looked pretty good as well.

Yeah, i planon picking up that omnibus. how much was it?

The special effects weren't that bad. I thought it actually compemented the show. The main characters were great. It was very funny, I'm regretting not buy the omnibus.

I'm surprised they actually had curse words, even if they were bleeped.
