It's on teh internetz. ;) And I'll get a hard copy in the mail.

And I sent an e-mail to the teacher that gave me a B, my math teacher. She's a moron, and curved the final only 3 points, when the very vast majoirty of kids got a C on the final.

At the risk of sounding like a dick, curving is bullshit.

If a student's score deserves a D, they should GET a D, not curving it so they get a low B. ;)

See that's the thing I love about college's nowadays (least the ones I went to). No more hardcopies. Just putting it online with access being only to the adminstrators and the student with the password. Thus leaving me as the only one who could make a hardcopy.

Course about the only catch to it was finding out the day before graduation what the hell my grades where and if I be graduating or not.. I did.

I agree. It's silly to lower your standards because the students didn't do well and you want them to feel good. Usually in school I was on the high end of the curve, but there were a few times that adjusting the grades helped me, but that doesn't mean it was the right thing to do.

Oh and congrats on the good grades.

Ptf that's nothing compared to my Spanish teacher. It didn't matter what you got on the finals to her. It was if you learned ie "showed up in every day of class" and "tried hard" you passed.
Besides I think of classes with curves as something to only pour 70% interest in since it still give you a high passing grade and I could pour my mind into something that needed my attention more like a math or science class.

Question for the curve people.

What if the majority of kids did poorly because the teacher didn't teach well at all? I think that this is the real statement that is being made here, there is a general consensus among her students that she is a terrible teacher, and while indeed she is indeed a scapegoat, she is a bad teacher!
