True. But that's why Jude's statement of "I don't get the controversy here" is offensive to me. He should be intelligent enough to understand that the controversey is that some of us feel that Joe Paterno did what he thought (at the time) was right, but later (after knowing what happened) thought he could/should have done more, and that now that he is dead, we're trying to respect and remember the man he was all of these years, and not demonize him and call him Villian#3 and say that he should burn in hell and all that, and others feel that because he didn't do more, he enabled a child molester and that he is a villain and should burn in hell.

And you're from Pennsylvania, so I guess maybe they're some kind of reason for you to give a shit. You and Avengingtitan. Other than that, I don't see how anyone would be so touched (no pun intended) by Joe Paterno that they need to "respect and remember the man he was all these years." Did any of you know him personally? Ever meet him? He might as well be a fictional character. He's just some dude on TV football games.

I hear ya, there. I understand you--but you are different from the others. You just don't give a fuck one way or the other, and I respect that. But people like Chubster, Hall and Oats, Lobster, and Melon are arguing that this guy is guilty of something that I don't believe he is guilty of. That is the argument for me. I mispoke when I said "respect and remember." I actually don't care. I just care about winning the argument.

But.. he basically admitted that he's guilty of it, when he said he should've done more.
