This movie can really do no wrong in your eyes, huh?

Now you almost have to love it.

I said it when I saw the first trailer.. this movie could be a gigantic bomb, and I would still love it. Been waiting my entire comic-reading life for this. To say that it's my most anticipated movie ever is not an exaggeration.

I trust the 95% of the critics and people who have seen the movie who have been raving over it. :D

It's the perfect Avengers movie, it's not the perfect movie.

I think the cartoon was doing a better job, both plot and execution, humor and so on. So I don't think you can even say that. Well you can because it's an opinion, but it's wrong. :-D

I mean by definition, saying it's the perfect Avengers movie suggests it couldn't be better.

I doubt anyone who's seen the movie can really say that.

I haven't seen the cartoon, but there's not much point in comparing them. It's a lot easier to do a saturday morning cartoon than a movie.

The very idea of this movie existing was preposterous 10 years ago, the fact that they managed to make it alone is admirable, the fact that it's great makes it even more so.

It could be better, every movie could be better, but to say this movie isn't damn-near perfect is just nitpicking.

What you're contending is silly. You are making the case that just getting the film made grants it the status of being a near perfect film.

One has nothing to do with the other. I applaud Marvel's approach and their achievement. That has nothing to do with the movie itself. Applaud the achivement if you like, I think they deserve kudos for it. But it still has nothing to do with the quality of what's presented onscreen. And the movie is decent, nothing more.

I disagree. The impossibility of this film being made added to the fact that it's good means it's achieved 2 great things.

So you thought the Expendables was a near perfect film? I bet Expendables 2 will be more perfect than perfect. :-D
