Again this conversation reminds me why we need that dipshit Superboy Prime to throw some more retcon punches to clean this current mess up.

The only mistake is that you read it, but you STILL don't get the concept.
Given your "in the 60s or 70s" statement, you're STILL judging Comic Book Time based on Real Time.

As for Comic Book Time being a "gimmick", it's the "gimmick" that's been keeping all the characters YOU love young and active for DECADES. The fact of the matter is that YOU have benefited from Comic Book Time just as much as I have, or any other comic book fan has. I suggest you make some sort of peace with the so-called "gimmick", because it'll keep being in effect as long as creators don't want characters to age too quickly. It'll ESPECIALLY remain in effect given how youth-happy Dan and the Gang are nowadays...

And yet, you don't see Marvel remaking him into a young, "Kewl!!" mockery of himself just because some people don't get the concept of Comic Book Time.

...as opposed to, say, your "in the 60s or 70s" statement above.
Maybe there IS hope for you...

That's why I wouldn't have the current President in any given story shown "on camera" at all, except if he's a fictional one like President Luthor.

Not really.
Let me know when ol' Mags was NOT at Auschwitz...

Sliding time means that everything that happened happened 10 years or 5 years from today.

Marvel says that as of 2012, Spider-Man gained his powers 10 years ago, Cap was unfrozen 10 years ago and so forth so that means 2002. 10 years from now (If Didio hasn't destroyed the comics industry), their origins will be dating back to 2012.

In Frankenstein: Agent of SHADE #0 there was a flashback panel showing Frankenstein during WWII fighting large, robotic Nazi spiders. If that happened, then one would think that it wasn't just an isolated incident. There has to have a lot more going on during DC's post-Flashpoint WWII than just ordinary soldiers fighting each other.

I would like to see some sort of JSA on Nu-Earth One. A team that worked clandestinely in the shadows away from public attention would be perfect.

Yeah. He's destroying it so much that he still has his job, sales are good, and Marvel is copying them NOW

copying them how? relaunching books is something marvel's been doing for years... Marvel isn't rebooting their universe, or hiring crappy 90s writers...all marvel is doing is relaunching books and reworking creative teams... everything that happened 10 years ago in the comics STILL has happened, unlike DC.
