I would be very surprised if its Hawkeye but I wouldn't bat my eye over Coulson as I have no attachment to him whatsoever. It would make sense if its Maria as she is barely mentioned in the movie so her relevance wouldn't be played upon, making it easy to kill her off.

I highly doubt they would kill Hulk off as there would be a great uproar. The same with Cap, Thor or Iron Man. Remember what happened with Optimus Prime in the 80's Transformers movie and the backlash that resulted? I doubt they are going to kill off the big guns in the movie.

That very well may be true but there are people out there who have been trying to avoid any potential spoilers for the Avengers. Putting something like this in a thread title is massively disrespectful to those people who want to be surprised by this movie.

Probably. Coulson is well-liked from what I've seen from the reactions in Thor and cameos in other movies. People like him. :smt102

My bad but I assumed that most people here knew about the rumors already so that's why I brought this up. In any event I don't think it will be one of the main characters but one of the secondary one so I don't expect this to be like the Optimus Prime debacle in the first Transformers movie.
