Unsurprisingly Daglish defended Suarez again for the handshake thing.

Suarez got me doing something I never in my life thought I would do -- cheer for Man U.

I really hate him for that. :smt011

Am watching Match of the Day on iPlayer (thanks to the wonders of Tunnel Bear) and I have to say that I've lost whatever respect I had for Kenny Dalgleish. Sir Alex is spot on about Suarez - what an absolute disgrace.

He always was thoughout this entire season...not counting the Evra incident he didn't think think that Adam going to break break Scott Parker's leg was serious, nor when his boys got Balotelli sent off or when Suarez started swearing at Fulham fans a while back.

Dalglish has just thrown out excuse after excuse every time they draw or get beaten to hide from the fact that the King Kenny legend is a relic from the 80's and that Liverpool are a very average team. And unlike Mancini, Daglish couldn't convert a chequebook into success if his life depended on it...35 million on Carroll and 20 million a piece for Downing and Henderson?

As a United fan I didn't have much love for Liverpool cus of the rivalry, but Dalglish and Suarez take my loathing to hate. I can respect Gerrard....he at least knows when to take responsibility for losses.

As a United fan I've always respected Liverpool (my true hatred was always reserved for the Arse), but that's over now. Bunch of cunts.

The attitude the club has taken has been baffling. Truly unbelievable.

I just wonder what Liverpool's black players and fans are thinking.

Other than Glen Johnson, how many are there? Even their Brazilians (Leiva, Aurelio) look white.

I meant first team players :P

This whole thing must be a PR nightmare for the American owners. They gave Dalglish to appease the fanatics and now he's gone off the deep end.

Any comments on the Suarez and Dalglish apologies?

From my point of view I think I believe Dalglish and he's somewhat redeemed himself in my mind. Suarez, on the other hand, is going to have to work quite hard for me to see him with even an ounce of respect.

It's damage control on both their parts since they realized they have no chance of winning this fight. They were all up in arms for months and now we're supposed to believe that Dalglish and Suarez had a change of heart?
