Yeah, Modric is gone now. They might have trouble keeping Bale too, and be happy that Van Der Vaart hasn't covered himself in glory at the Euro's

Good. Shit manager. Hate Harry Redknapp. IMO he knew Modric was off anyway.

I think Bale will stay for this season still. Two if they qualify for CL.

However Modric will probably leave. Although the price tag Levy has put on him might just mean that he can't leave.

I wonder who will replace Redknapp, Rodgers would have been the first bet had it not been for him going to Liverpool. I think Moyes would be good for them, maybe give them some stability at the back.

So, Manchester United and Barcelona have just announced a pre-season friendly here in Gothenburg on 8th August. I think tickets are going to be really expensive, though... :?

Even as a pre season game this should be enjoyable.

Yeah, it looks like the tickets are going to cost the equivalent of around £50 each. I thought it would be great to take my son (he has never been to a match before) but there's no way we can afford that kind of price...

RVP is leaving Arsenal. Refuses to sign a new contract due to conflicting opinions with Wegner on the future of the club. Released a statement confirming he's done there.

Never thought this would happen. Please don't join City too.

They'll probably get read of Balotelli so RVP would fit right in.

They're also clearing out Dzeko, but I think RVP's got too much respect for Wegner to pull a Nasri. The fans know what a touchy subject City is with Adebayor and Nasri there.

You know, when they signed Giroud I was thinking: Podolski and Giroud with RVP playing behind them? Arsenal's going to be trouble next year. Now this. In a way I'm relieved. Just hope he goes to another country instead of becoming another Arsenal conquest in Mancini's squad.

I reckon they can get 20-25mil for him. For a player in the last year of his contract who was terribly injury prone prior to this season that seems more than fair to Arsenal.

I'd like to see RVP in Italy, but I have a horrible feeling City will end up with him. Ugh.

I'm hoping Real get him now that their Modric bid is on the rocks. Higuain and Kaka are big bargaining chips that Mourinho seems eager to cut to sweeten the deal.
