6mil a year more than AON. Not bad considering "GM Europe’s losses have totalled US$16.4 billion ($15.6 billion) since 1999"

Wouldn't it have made more sense for the Opel logo to be used in Europe BTW?

That deal would be nowhere near good enough.
Ahead of that, GM is forking out US$18.6 million in fees for the 2012 and 2013 seasons, and will increase it to US$70 million when the deal really kicks off, with payments rising by 2.1% each subsequent season, reports indicate.

They are the true figures, as revealed by the IPO prospectus recently.

United are a global machine. This was only to be expected considering we get about 15 million a year for our TRAINING KIT sponsorships.

If the Glazers keep pocketing large chunks of our profits we might as well be spending it on hookers for Rooney.

Yes, because any Mexicans that like Chicharito/Man U are already driving Chevys, and rednecks don't care about soccer.

Well the story's finally over...PSG has signed Lucas Moura for 45 million euros and he'll join them January 2013:

How on earth can they possibly be conforming to FFP? There's no way in hell they could be as profitable as other moneyballers like City and Chelsea.

Can anyone really see Van Persie joining Man United? I get the feeling Arsenal want him to go abroad, even if Juventus offer less money.

And do Man U even need him? They should be buying central midfielders, not strikers, with Rooney, Welbeck and Hernandez (and even Berbatov hasn't left yet), plus Valencia, Nani, Young and Kagawa out wide, they have a decent strike-force already, but they are relying on a 38 year-old Scholes and an unproven Cleverly in the middle.

United just want to get him so City doesn't. If City gets him then they're in pole position to take the title with those attacking options...and if United back down City know they've got a clear path to get him once they offload Dzeko.

I'd prefer him going to Juventus too though. An LB and midfielder are needed. But a RVP/Rooney has a nice ring to it. And hopefully it'd take some of the pressure off Welbeck and Chicharito...they were choke artists last season so many times.

I thought Welbeck was one of the best things about last season. He's fucking awesome.

He had his moments and he definitely is the next big thing from England along with Sturridge. But the amount of golden chances he squandered was ridiculous. His finishing is a big issue that needs work.

He'll get there. Thought he scored and assisted easily enough last year, especially as he had a few injury troubles.

Can't wait to see him next year.
