Yeah he probably did it. Found it funny that Arsenal fans have already started singing the "She said no Robin" song so soon after he left.

Man Utd. really took a strong grip on first place today.

The other thing that stands out to me after this days matches, Aston Villa has given up twelve goals in the last two games.

I jus hope Fergie strikes while the iron is hot and brings in a defensive mid. Outside of our CB injuries the lack of a link between the attack and defense has killed us on counterattacks due to there being no anchor.

There is no excuse for the team with the best attack to not give a shit about the goals against them.

You hear Fergie go off on Pardew?

"Alan Pardew has come out and criticised me. He is the worst at haranguing referees. He shoves them and makes a joke of it. How he can criticise me is unbelievable. He forgets the help I gave him, by the way."

............

"It is unfortunate but I am the manager of the most famous club in the world. Not Newcastle, a wee club in the northeast."

I'm starting to get slightly concerned about Palace. They've only won twice since Ian Holloway took over as manager.

I'm not losing all hope of course, they're still in forth place in the Championship and the season has been very good overall. Still, the current slide is of concern.

I don't know if there's a free preview weekend or something on DirecTV (I don't think there is, because I see no evidence of it anywhere) but I seem to have Fox Soccer now.

Been watching soccer all day.

Maybe they moved it down to the lower package since Fox won't have the Premier League rights next season.

So, what are the odds on Paul Lambert still having a job this time next month?

They've deflated that's for sure.

Their past 3 performances made Mark Hughes season look good in comparison.
