Given some of his Anzhi performances I don't get it. He's way past it.

Mourinho got the best out of him at Inter, and hell, even if he is past it, he's probably a better bet than Torres or Ba. In an ideal world, I imagine he'll stick around until Lukaku is ready to be a regular.

Real Sociedad play some really nice stuff from what I've seen on Revista La Liga.

I'll be glad if we smash Shaktar.

Leverkusen should be in the bag if we put our best foot forward.

Sociedad is class.

I find Arsenal being in the Dortmund/Napoli group hilarious though. ..they wanted so many of Dortmunds players and Napoli swept up Higuain from under their noses.

Marseille is doable for them though.

BTW I think you guys are overestimating Eto'o based on who he was 4+ years ago. The guy struggles in the Russian league and plays second fiddle to Lacina Traore.

and

Eto'o in 2004: "I Would rather be selling groundnuts in my village than to play for a pathetic team like Chelsea"

2013?

"It wasn't a hard decision. I saw the qualities Chelsea have, and I was very happy with Jose Mourinho before, so when the opportunity came, I was very happy to take it."

He also said a while ago:
"Mourinho is shameless, at the end they followed his game, did what he wanted, although this time I suppose he will have appeared in the press conference,"
"And if this team wins the Champions League, it would make you want to retire" - He said it after the Chelsea v Barca champions league game.

Erik Lamela to Spurs confirmed by the official PL website?

http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/play ... rik-lamela

Gutted that he went to Spurs, I'd kill to have him replace Valencia.

Meh it's a load of bullshit that twitter thing. You have to really reach to assume that the Liverpool twitter owner knew what he was talking about..

i dunno, when i read it it clocked in my mind straight away.

you reckon we're going to sign a central midfielder this window? carricks gotten older, andersons gotten fatter and cleverley is still way too raw.

Anderson and Cleverley are fine. Anderson looks in a pretty good state fitness wise IMO and I just want him to stay away from injuries.

I would like one more face in if not just for cover
