If a defender starts holding an attacker outside of the penalty area but continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee shall award a penalty kick. - from the games own rulebook.

Keep crying Pellegrini. If you really did manage the biggest club in Manchester you'd know better than to claim it should've been a free kick

New to the heights....? they're composed of seasoned internationals, have been in the CL continuously for years now and cost over 1.5b in transfers since the takeover.

They've been heavily spending since the 07/08 season and still haven't gotten it right. 7 years.

with no youngsters of note,a structure not prepared for the big flights and random money craving great players, you still dont win trophies,6/7 years to build a chapions league contender out of the blue, you have to be really lucky,or have one hell of a team (strong locker room wise and skill wise)

im not defending city,i couldnt care less im just bafled how barça won it,without spirit...bare in mindim no barça fan either ;)

To be fair, they have won the league and the FA Cup in that time.

Szczesny made an offensive gesture at officials after he was sent off for a last man foul on Robben.

100% red BTW, you don't kick a guy like Robben in the shin when the balls shoulder height and expect him to man up and play through

Is Valencia playing in midfield? I've been waiting to see that day for such a long time

Valencia replaced Van Persie in the 80th minute. I was disappointed after the second goal and was only half watching by that point, so I'm not sure -- sorry.
