Ok. IF someone were to have accidentally baked a pizza on the cardboard it came wrapped in, would you still eat said pizza?

I say no, my friend says yes.

Thoughts?

Was it take-out or frozen?

It was never fully frozen, it's like an uncooked pizza that you take home and bake.

At 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Or 204 degrees to you.

And it wasn't the whole time, it was probably 10 minutes before I said WTF? and took the cardboard out.

It was hot and brittle but didn't char too much yet.

And this is all part of a larger issue over the merits of pizza stones, or the lack of them.

If it didn't burn then I don't see that it would be a problem. :smt102

Much. It didn't burn much. It was never fully aflame, at any rate.

The Telegraph UK and The Daily Mail have a lot to say about the dangers of cardboard.

What is the basis of your refusal? I mean, is there any particular reason of which your friend may not be aware, that makes the pizza now unpalatable? Health concerns over burnt cardboard? Taste concerns?

Apparently, people who cook pizza with the cardboard under it have their own Facebook group:

This is supposed to make me feel better?!

I'd never believe anything those two Tory rags would have to say about any subject.

It will probably taste bad.

And it could be a potential fire hazard if your friend doesn't pay more attention in the future.
