Agreed.

I was actually going to post in defense of Andy Murray, but then I realised: the man was runner-up at Wimbledon, and he lost to possibly the greatest player of all time. He doesn't need my support.

However, this thread is petty-minded and small. Apt, I know, and par for the course. So as Punchy said, Nac: do fuck off.

If the British suck at tennis for having Murray constantly in the semi-finals and then losing in the Wimbledon finals today, what does that say about how shitty Americans are at tennis on the men's side?

Lots of countries play baseball and basketball and golf and many other sports that Americans are good out. just because there's a handful of sports that some European countries don't play doesn't mean they aren't popular in South America or Asia or whatever.

Baseball is the #2 sport to soccer in many Central and South American countries as well. And basketball is very popular in China and many parts of Europe.

But I knew that you knew that and were just biting on the bait by the OP. Just had to defend America.
