Anyone planning on playing this MMORPG when it comes out? I already pre-ordered my copy.

No, but I don't play MMO's.

If I did, I would probably give this a shot.

I am excited for it, the heavy emphasis they have on story sounds like basically playing SW:KOTOR with a bunch of friends.

I would if there was a console version. I don't like these types of games on pc

It's fucking sad that the trailer there was better than all the best moments of the prequels combined.

I had been considering it. But I really don't like MMOs. I really don't like that the only continuation of the KotOR franchise from Bioware is an MMO.

And it's a loose continuation at that, which doesn't seem to have much to do with the original game beyond the fact it's Star Wars and at least one of the characters from KotOR had a kid who had a kid who had a kid (Bastila Shan, that is).

The trailers are entertaining. But Bioware's trailers always are.

as I am quitting World of Warcraft to go to this game, I am already an MMOer so I can't really say if this game appeals to non-MMOers or not since I am already hooked to em. Also being a huge star wars nerd, and getting my own bounty hunter ship, I am sold.

They are saying though this one is heavily story driven, so people who aren't big on MMO, but love star wars lore should maybe check out their site and see some of the game play and early starting stages videos.

I'll be playing but I'm not as excited as I was before.

I was invited to beta test this weekend but their entire testing process is fucked. They sent an email to RSVP for the test. I RSVP'ed. They sent an email to install the game and that just takes you back to the RSVP page. Apparently some people have been able to download the game client by declining the RSVP but then their login doesn't work. Any attempt to contact support just gives a generic response that the server is down.

I don't even wanna beta test, I want it to be new and fresh when the game launches.

decided I will make a Bounty Hunter has dual pistols is cool and I like the ship Bounty Hunters get. I did watch some game play videos and some starting zone videos though just to see how it plays.

Bounty Hunters with flamethrowers is sweet, can't wait to school 15 year old jedi wannabes with my rocket pack and missiles.

If it ever goes Free for play then yes, but I dislike MMO games, so probably no.

To bad this isn't KOTOR3.

I've been following the game since the beginning. I even picked up one of the so-called tie-in novels. This is the closest I've ever come to playing an MMO. But I'm just not feeling it.

When it was first annouced I figured I'd skip it because I was playing WoW, I didn't play Galaxies for that reason, but finally I am just plan done with WoW and I dont even remember what got this back on my radar, but after watching some videos I became excited.

at least 1 of my friends from WoW is talking about coming over, and pretty sure at least 1 more will eventually come, so it'll be nice to try something new.
