Steampunk Spiderman and Foes

Postby Timbales » Wed Jul 18, 2012 9:17 am

Note: After winning over the P:R staff and readers earlier this year with his rockabilly take on Batman & his extended cast, Denis Medri is back with another themed re-invisioning of a classic comics hero. In this outing, it’s Spider-Man meets steampunk as Medri takes a wrench to the webcrawler and his rogue’s gallery You can see how Medri’s put alot of thought into each of these designs, both in style and substance with the webshooters and various contraptions the villains use. Denis Medri — thank you! – Chris A.

I've been enjoying this round of work a lot. I think the rockabilly stuff was a bit better, but nothing bad here. Can't wait to see where he goes next.

I think Green Goblin is pretty awesome and works in this context.

Not sold on the Spider-Man design but I really like his rogues, especially the Kraven redesign. I would definitely buy this if Marvel were to publish it.

Kraven is my favorite. I love the use of the safari hat and monocle.

Yeah, even before clicking the link I knew he'd be really good.

They all do seem to blend really well with the theme.
