I liked the original incarnation that was made fun of in 'Turtles Forever'. Some of those issues were pretty damn ggod, especially when they retreated back to the country.

After a limited web release of my graphic novel 'The Bends: One Shot' on graphicly.com ( available here: http://grph.ly/Ox6npn ), I am looking for funds to print the first 100 copies to take to local comic shops. I have a rough quote from Ka-Blam for $350 to print the first 100 in a manga-sized format. If you can contribute you will get your name printed on the back credits page. How cool is that?

Yeah. Those just got collected from IDW in a nice hardcover. I forgot how awesomely detailed Eastman was.

Yeah and there was something really cool about the grey tones in the original B/W prints, it made Eastman's pencils shine even more. Man I was in awe of the detail of Eastman's work as a kid. I still remember a battle with the TGRI robot "krangs" that was a full page panel. So sick. TMNT #7 I think. I had the comic.

I am looking forward to the new cartoon, saw the new toys for it at Toys R Us the other day, hopefully we will get them at Wal-Mart soon and I will pick them up. Saw some really cool figures at the comic shop as well that looked just like the versions from the original cartoon series. They are $20 bucks a piece well worth the price but they only had two of the turtles and only want them if I can get all four.

These new toys are cool. They look like the original Turtles from Eastman and Laird #1
