Just got back from the midnight premiere, quite possibly my favorite movie of all time even edging out the original Star Wars.

It was a great movie, but it's not better than The Dark Knight.

dark knight and batman begins are different beasts though, I know they're both comic book movies but I compare them to more Oscars type movies. They're not just great comic book movies but great movies, period.
But nothing, I mean nothing can top my geeked out-ness with the avengers, distant second would be the berzerker scene in xmen 2.

Fair enough.

That being said, Avengers was awesome. I'm going to see it again on Sunday. I didn't even do that with the Dark Knight, so that's saying something.

I much preferred Avengers to Dark Knight which is overly grim. Yes, grim is appropriate for Batman, but it means the film remains cold to me, I respect it, but I don't love it.

Cannot wait. Taking a half day at work then going to see the film. Luckly when I talked to my boss she encouraged me to go see it. The tickets have been pre-ordered
