Best lines in the last episode -

"are... Are you my father?"
"......no."

Jaw drop...
"Why are you pointing your screwdrivers like that? They're scientific instruments, not water pistols."
"Oh, the pointing again! They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet at them?"
"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?"
""Timey" what? "Timey wimey"?"

Same here. The only other answer is that she's his niece, the daughter of his beloved yet nutjob sister.

But she asked it and my jaw dropped. It was so about time already.

Was really pleased with the past two episodes.

That was really a lot of people dying at once.

It's kind of amusing to know Red isn't the biggest kid on the block. It was cool to see Lizzie strap on her try-hard hat and shoot some fuckers, but it was even cooler that they didn't try to make her into an instant ultimate bad-ass of all time (Got knocked the FUCK out).

The scenes with Ressler and Red were some of the best in the entire series.

With regards to the "Are you mah daddy?" question, consider this before you come to any conclusions: Red killed her fake-dad in part to spare him the pain of a long death, and in part, to keep him from telling her the truth.

Whatever that truth may be, Red LIES to keep her from finding out.

I'm glad they're showing that Red is only part of a complex system and not a mysterious untouchable figure as established in the pilot. I like seeing Red in that role, but it was smart of the show to remind us that no one is untouchable.

 I really appreciated that, too. Lizzie put on her big girl panties and did a decent John McClane for a bit, but I honestly didn't expect that BOINK! knockout.

This intense two-parter came at the best time. I've liked the show but I was starting to wonder if it was going to tow the formulaic line.

Exactly. Red told her adopted father that he wasn't ready to tell Lizzie yet so Lizzie asking him and Red saying no doesn't mean that he's not her father. He's just not ready to tell her yet.

Love how he ended the call by reminding her again about her husband.

Then fades into the crowd via Bourne/Hannibal Lecter...

Great show. Everyone should be watching it.

Even with the bare feet too. Had me crackin' up.

I think they handled her spurt of bad-assery very well.

And regarding bad-asses, it was cool to see Ressler taken down by a hit that most other TV/Movie action bad-asses would shrug off outside of the real world. It gave a sense for what a close range gunfight would really be like. I dunno how realistic it was that sepsis would set in so damn quick (or maybe that was just the bad guy trying to spook them), but that entire subplot was great for humanizing Ressler.

And Red, to a degree.

There are some episodes in which I've felt Spader was just phoning it in (even though Spader phoning it in is often worth more than some actors giving it their all), but these past two episodes, he acted the living hell out of his role. He's like a Dr. Doom that trolls on fools.

Just watched it..

Good stuff.

Alan Alda is always a good villain, imo.

I think he represents a group of corrupt govt. officials, and well... Red does business for them. They fear if Red dies, his play is revealing ALL the names on his other list.
