Lizzie put on her big girl panties and did a decent John McClane for a bit, but I honestly didn't expect that BOINK!
Even with the bare feet too. Had me crackin' up.
I think they handled her spurt of bad-assery very well.
And regarding bad-asses, it was cool to see Ressler taken down by a hit that most other TV/Movie action bad-asses would shrug off outside of the real world. It gave a sense for what a close range gunfight would really be like. I dunno how realistic it was that sepsis would set in so damn quick (or maybe that was just the bad guy trying to spook them), but that entire subplot was great for humanizing Ressler.
And Red, to a degree.
There are some episodes in which I've felt Spader was just phoning it in (even though Spader phoning it in is often worth more than some actors giving it their all), but these past two episodes, he acted the living hell out of his role. He's like a Dr. Doom that trolls on fools.
