You honestly don't see why pretending to be a just-vacationed poster would be something we'd frown upon? Or are you just trying to carry on the lutz in Al's absence?

As I've said earlier in the thread, to do so is not without precedence. Reference the Men of Steel incident. Similarly it occurred with one of Sgt Marvels bannings. Under no other circumstance where this has happened has an Outhouser been censured. Why in this case?

Other than for the joke of "Not so fast" towards Bender have I done anything to upset the balance - which even he admits was funny. So why such an overreaction which is different than previous handlings of these situations?

"'cause no one else got busted for it" is kind of a dumb defense.

Actually, they did: it was three years ago. Rob got a vacation and everyone changed their names, leading to a huge argument with the admins. It may not be enshrined in the TOS, but since Emma evidently remembers that incident she must remember the backlash afterward. Methinks this may find its way into the TOS sooner rather than later, so I guess in a backhanded way I should thank Emma for her 'funny' 'joke.'

Also, I don't think Sgt Marvel has ever been banned.
