I have spent quite a lot of time simplifying the rules of the OH forto make my posting easier
you have just experienced what I like to call the "blanket / non-specific personal insult" (named after a poster who would not see the honor in the inspiration of this rule) - basically, it is ok to insult / attack a group of people so long as you don't name any one person specifically. You can even go as obscene as you want, even so far that it would ban you if you named a specific poster.

there are amendments and sub-rules that have spun out of this rule, but the expansion can be saved for another time.
