Just finished it…

And it should be called Changes 2! Holly crap!

It finally looked like Molly was on the right track and she gets derailed. That was the craziest twist ever. It’s cool she’ll still get to tag with Harry. We’ve seen stories with Murphy and Thomas POVs I hope we get one with Molly, I’d like to see the story behind her friendship with her landlord.

GK, I do think the parasite is Lasciel, never thought he really got rid of her. And she was probably the voice from Ghost Story too.

Was so looking forward to the reunions, the one with Mouse was my favourite. I wasn’t bummed that he didn’t meet Maggie, it just makes me want to see it more.

Harry vs Santa, awesome! Didn’t expect to see Odin so soon so I really enjoyed that.

Funny seeing Toot possibly get a love interest. The others are a bunch of jerks towards him.

I always thought the fallen angels would end up being the main bad guys but now it seems it’s the Outsiders. Gatekeeper has a pretty huge responsibility.

Can’t think of more stuff right now.

One thing I didn't get/like

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
If they could get so many Outsiders to Earth for the attack why do they keep attacking from the Never-never?

We could probably talk without spoilers at this point  But I won't risk it.

I too stopped to think about the outsiders. A couple of things to note
-The outsiders in the water were clearly grunts, they did not seem to have the psychic abilities of sharkface and seemed to be fairly easily dispatchable, which is not what we've seen from the other outsiders
-Harry said that outsiders have to be summoned to earth, so we have to assume that the army was summoned by the human practitioners on the barge

Damn, I know other people have said it, but I think this is my new favorite one in the series!

And I guess we know now what Butcher's famous "Apocalypse Trilogy" will be about, now!

Better safe than sorry, it's just been out for a week.

Thought of some more stuff.

I wonder where Leah was through all this. It dealt a lot with Winter so I was expecting to see her. :smt102

I started liking Mab after this. Holding back the Outsiders and playing Harry was pretty cool. I’m finally convinced she isn’t crazy. I still thought there was something fishy when she had Leah trapped in ice.

Well it’s been more than two years since a proper Dresden adventure. I liked Ghost Story and all but it was lacking. It was filler. :P

It’s really paying off if you’ve read the previous books. Things just keep building.

-That is a good question, hopefully Butcher addresses it

- I was wondering where Lea was the whole book, I just assumed that Mab told her to stay away because she would have been likely to give something away to Harry.

The "special Hell" joke is the one that got me, especially since Harry didn't get it

This is the best Dredsen book since Small Favor I think. I really like Harry and Thomas's interaction and Bob having access to the internet is hilarious.
