So does Godfrey become a pawn of Darkseid like in the books?

There is a time skip. The Robin we've seen in S2 promos is really Tim and Dick has become Nightwing.

Fucking awesome!!!

In the books, Godfrey is actually Glorious Godfrey in disguise.

Exactly what I meant. Is Darkseid going to appear in the cartoon by chance?

Have a couple YJ's to catch up on so no comment yet.
GL was excellent again today - loved that Carol turned the ring back in.
The Girlfriends short was spectacular. Loved it.

And the Blue Beetle bio - was just weird. Not the biography just that they kept calling him Hymie instead of Jamie ('jay-me'). Is that how it's supposed to be pronounced?

Holy Poopsicles!! This show just got 1 million more better than it was!! The 5 year time skip forward was brilliant and I love it because now we are getting to see so many more characters and it brought some new questions and status quo's for the entire team. Supposedly 65 new characters are going to be seen this season and in this episode alone we saw:

Nightwing (Dick Grayson)
Batgirl
Lobo
Wondergirl
Blue Beetle
Adam Strange
Tim Drake Robin
Bumble Bee
Beast Boy
Lagoon Boy

and probably others that I am so excited I am forgetting right now. Superboy and Miss Martian are no longer together, because now she is with Lagoon Boy!? How did that happen? I know I am excited to find out! The only original team members we didn't see today were Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Artemis, so when will they show up and if all, I a, curious to find out! I haven't enjoyed a cartoon series as much as I am enjoying Young Justice in a very long time. Finally seeing Nightwing as a prime main event starring role in one the cartoon series is just about the best thing ever for me! This show is just so smartly written and the animation is just top notch. Ok I gotta go cuz I am on my moms computer, vacation has been awesome so far! Talk more when I get back home tomorrow night and watch Young Justice Invasion again, it's the best thing going right now!

Yes that is how his name is pronounced.

Green Lantern was really good today as usual. The shorts were pretty funny today as well especially Teen Titanic, lol!

I'm not sure what I think of this time jump.

Jaime arguing with the scarab was pretty awesome though.

I don't know how I feel about the time jump either.

I guess time will tell.

It's just weird. They built up the team slowly in season 1, we got to know the characters and care about them. Then bam here we are, half of them are missing, and the other half are suddenly on the league and likely to get less screentime. Just seems like an extremely odd choice.

Love Tim Drake's costume and glad to see Nightwing though.

Maybe the season finale will involve YJ having to go back into the past 5 years to undo something the mind-controlled Leaguers did. That could segue into the story picking up right where it left off, leaving the show with the young cast and sending the future ones back home, and allow the Writers to then use upcoming seasons to fill in the gaps.

Things I liked: Nightwing, his awesome costume that looks like it was armor and not spandex, Blue Beetle joining YJ, Zatanna graduating to the league and the option for Nightwing to be a League member, Wonder Girl.

Things I didn't like: Miss Martian is still on the team, Lagoon Boy, the lack of Wally and Artemis.

It was a mixed bag. Hopefully it will get better like the season 1 improved from the first episode.
