My friend is Turkish and an absolute fiend for football. He's probably going nuts right now.

He's the only player on the team that I recognize (and Van Nistleroy I think his name is).

Italia is my team as I am mostly of Italian descent. If it wasn't for Buffon's save against Romania they'd be done. Of course, they still have to beat France and hope the Netherlands beats Romania.

From what i've read they seem to have been pretty average matches, the Ballack free kick was pretty spectacular, it's up on the BBC site.

I saw it on Sportscenter.
The Croatian goal was okay.

I'm an England supporter, so I hope Croatia crashes and burns.

I'm with currently with the French and my favorite player, Thierry Henry.
