Honestly, I dont think he's ready to be a showrunner. He's like Jericho to me. Insanely entertaining but he's not exactly someone you build around YET.

Give him a year or two and some productive wins against top-level talent and then he'd be ready. But not now. He'd need to be a second banana to someone else BUT still be dominant in the relationship. I think JBL is in the perfect position for that at the moment because he is making his comeback still and isn't in peak physical shape yet so he's not really a threat for the Title (IMO anyway) but is over enough with the fans that if Punk aligned himself with him, he'd get boo'd mercilessly.

Kane should have been multiple time World Champion by now, not just a one day accidental champion.

I know the Undertaker thing is a fact. I've seen interviews with Taker where he said that and that he wishes Kane would have been willing to be the guy since he really wanted to give him that boost.

I'm not shocked about the title thing either. He deserves to be a multiple time champ, but he just honestly doesn't seem to care about it, which of course makes me want him to get another run even more.

They really needed to make his ECW title reign like The Big Show's where he was taking on everyone (ECW, RAW and SD!) and winning cleanly.

Instead, they just had him fight people like Chavo Guerrero for weeks

I agree, He needs to be built up a little more before you try to have him carry shows. He's big enough to be champ, but not to carry feuds yet. Get him past Dave and then move on to guys like HBK or Cena or Jericho.

Despite his indy training, he's still very green. Comparatively (and I think you can compare the two, in terms of size, style and potential), it took Shawn Michaels almost 10 years in the WWF to hold the title. But by that point he had been involved in major feuds and challenged for the belt multiple times. This is why everyone was so nervous about Punk holding the briefcase, because they weren't building a legitimate champion/contender, someone who could carry a WWF program within his role.

Chris Harris made his debut last night with horrible ring gear. I feel sorry for all these guys starting out in ECW, the crowd is so quiet.

I wonder who'll debut next week.

The crowd would be hotter if they didn't have terrible matches with Estrada. I don't know why it is, but both times they've just had super simple stuff going on. Compare that to Kofi or Sydal/Bourne who they let actually showcase their talents in their debuts. The crowds loved those guys from the start. They need to make sure they let these guys showcase their talents more in their first matches rather than playing it safe with boring stuff.

I'm still waiting for ECW to show Elijah Burke in his new gimmick.

I would just like to see Burke.

That guy is really talented and should be a heel that's always in the IC or US title picture.

I definitly agree on that! He could really shine as a upper-mid card guy on Smackdown or Raw. Anyone that is on ECW is wasted in my opinion, that show is just shittty.

I doubt I could take Kane under the mask again seriously after seeing the recent batch of X-Games commercials with the goober in a similar mask.

Taker actually asked creative to let Kane beat him at Wrestlemania. Creative has also wanted to put the belt on Kane a number of times. The deal is that Glenn Jacobs, the man, feels that his job now as a veteran is to put other people over.

It's an old school mentality. He's the ultimate team player. He's made his money. He's had a great run. I think he doesn't feel like he needs any more accolades.

There was talk about a year ago that he wanted to retire. He's one of the most well respected guys in the locker room, and that is evident by having Taker want to put him over at Mania.

That's not to say I wouldn't like to watch him go crazy again and become a huge monster heel. I think he deserves one more title run. And its even been reported that Vince believes that as well.

It's really up to Kane, I guess.
