That would be funny.

- WWE has reportedly re-signed Matt Bloom, currently working for New Japan Pro Wrestling as Giant Bernard. He has formerly wrestled for WWE as Prince Albert and A-Train.

Bloom is currently scheduled to return to WWE after WrestleMania 28 is over.

Bloom will reportedly be the new henchman for John Laurinaitis.

Ah man. :(

I'm happy for him if this is what he wants to do, but I loved Bad Intentions as a tag-team in New Japan.

Yeah. If you told me that Albert and Renee Dupree became talented wrestlers over there I'd have laughed at you

Then I saw clipshows on youtube and ate my words.

Actually some decent sounding matches.

Still not paying for it, though.

If Albert is treated seriously, he's phenomenal now from his time in Japan.

He could be a great top level heel.

Day 77 (yesterday).

I was out of town yesterday so I had to watch a match on my wife's trusty laptop. The match in question? One of my favorite ROH matches ever: Steel Cage Warfare. The Embassy - comprised of Alex Shelly, Jimmy Rave, Abyss, and Prince Nana - do battle with Generation Next - comprised of Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Jack Evans, and Matt Sydal - inside the steel cage.

The rules are combination of the Survivor Series match and Wargames. It starts out with two men in the cage (a regular cage) and a new participant enters every 5-minutes. People can be eliminated via submission or pin-fall along the way. The only detractor from the match is that the cage functions primarily as an additional weapon and not as means to keep them locked inside.

Due to winning an 8-man match a month prior (thanks to Daizee Haze being a complete skank and turning on Matt Sydal), the Embassy is given the #s advantage.

The whole story really began with Alex Shelley being the man who formed Generation Next and having that position as leader be taken from him by Austin Aries. Shelley spent month's trying to find allies unsuccessfully until he stumbled upon the woman-abusing Embassy who accepted him into their fold.

This is another match that is EASILY worth tracking down to witness first-hand.

Match of the Day goes to The Embassy vs. Generation Next, of course.

TNA seems to have really toned down the shock-booking and is working on progressive storytelling.

About Giant Bernard, AKA Albert, AKA A-Train, he apparently wrote this today on his Twitter:

Haha! False. Wife just had a baby. I'll be on next tour

I'm assuming he means New Japan's next tour and that he hasn't actually signed with the Fed.

And from PWIinsider.com:

http://www.pwinsider.com/article/66778/ ... g.html?p=1

On his Twitter, Matt "Albert" Bloom denied reports he had signed with WWE, writing, "Haha! False. Wife just had a baby. I'll be on next tour."

Bloom, currently working for New Japan, also commented that he had no idea where the story came from.

I know that this morning, I heard from a number of talents that were told he was coming in this April, so we will see.

Now I'm not sure what to think. :smt102

As a fan of his work over in Japan, I do hope that he is staying with New Japan.
