By that logic, we should never expect any feuds to be real, never expect anyone to mean it when they say they want to hurt someone, and just generally not care about anything on screen.

And there's a difference when a guy is not actively wrestling vs when he's actually there to wrestle. Or a guy that's moved on and isn't onscreen at all.

It's just not the reaction I'd personally enjoy seeing, and combined with his ambivalence towards losing the night before, it was made worse.

I didn't see him as ambivalent, I saw him trying his best to be mature rather than act like every other wrestler

and, if we are supposed to be ok with everyone knowing who is returning when, and we shouldn't be upset when its spoiled, then why the hell should we expect feuds to be real?

Its a movie whose script is constantly leaked to people who think more and more its ok to shout out the ending. Why should anything be expected to be real?

This isn't the first time a crowd cheered for a returning wrestler before he came out.

The "We Want Lesnar" chants only served to amplify the anticipation.

People probably tuned in to see the show because they heard about the chants.

You act as if anybody in the arena knew Brock would be there. He wasn't even in the building until a few minutes before his music hit, the way I understand it. We weren't spoiling anything. Based on rumors, we were telling Vince what we wanted -- which, last I checked, is what crowds are supposed to do.

Brock showing up was in no way confirmed any way or anywhere before, during or right up until he actually showed up. (Trust me, we kept checking.) The Internet had nothing to do with it. People are just mad we were booing Cena.

You're probably one of those guys who hates that wrestlers Tweet. Shit, they're always ruining kayfabe. Because kayfabe is so alive and well in today's market. If Cena wants us to expect feuds to be real, he wouldn't do stuff like he did the night after WM 27 and smile and goof around and act like the WWE Championship doesn't matter. You can't be mad at a crowd for chanting and not be equally pissed at Cena for no-selling the gravitas of the sport.

I don't care if you hate Cena or not, its the cool thing to do and you are soo cool, what pissed me off is the people walking past paying customers to see The Usual Suspects telling the line that Kevin Spacey is the bad guy.

If you totally cool internet know-it-alls had been booing Cena, screaming "YES YES YES", or what ever else is the new "What!?" it would have been annoying and distracting, but nothing new. Rather you ended up making what could have been a great reveal just another moment

Sorry, man, your story only makes sense if you're not really a fan of wrestling or don't care for Brock and didn't want to see him come back anyway.
