WWE's live Super Smackdown: Blast from the Past drew a 1.5 rating, down from the 1.9 rating from last week's recorded show that aired on Friday, and down from the 1.67 the last live Smackdown earned on February 21


Getting to TNA levels.

Not surprised as last nights show sucked big time. Like someone else already said, there was nothing special about this so called special show.

While I don't have a huge problem with the Usos doing the Haka on the stage, and it's entirely possible they wanted to show more respect for their heritage, I really loved when they debuted in suits and talking about college educations and how they were not going to be stuck doing this kind of stuff. It gave them a unique angle to not be typical wrestling islanders.

It makes me want someone go up to them and ask them in view of the camera "Didn't you guys say you weren't going to go this route?"

That's all WWE's fault. They don't promote the live episodes until the night before they air. You'll see better ratings with Friday's re-airing.

I swear WWE does it on purpose to justify to themselves why they just don't do Smackdown live as well as Raw.

Screw the extra money, when will they realize no one watches Smackdown as much because they already know what happens before it airs so why bother?

But when its live, I'm always watching it because I can be surprised by what happens just like Raw.

The big news came out of Inside ROH and a press conference held recently regarding the upcoming Border Wars (which isn't going to be on GFL according to Kevin Kelly). Steen and Richards had another confrontation which resulted in the match being made for 5/12 - Kevin Steen vs. Davey Richards for the ROH Championship in Toronto. Should be a great match.

My friends and I have already made plans to be there live.
