Day 104 (yesterday).
I tried to finish the Kane DVD, but it got to 10 o'clock and I was dead tired. I did finish most of it.
I started with Kane vs. Snitsky. Bad match. Less said, the better.
Next was Kane vs. Edge in a Cage Match. Not too shabby, this one. It wasn't the best match ever, but it was an enjoyable romp. This came right after Lita turned on Kane and listening to Ross talk about how it was sickening that Edge stole Kane's wife is really indicative of the piss-poor consistency in booking in WWE. Matt Hardy shows up at the beginning, BTW.
Next was Kane vs. Edge in a Stretcher Match. Some people find these to not to be entertaining, but really I enjoyed it within the confines of the gimmick. Edge got the win using his MITB briefcase, but afterward Kane tombstoned Lita on the entrance.
Next was Kane/Undertaker vs. King Booker/Finlay. It had a shoddy start, as it seemed like Kane and 'taker were never going to slip into "face-in-perils" roles, but once Kane did the match picked up significantly. A tag match really needs a heel-cheating-heat-sequence to be good. There was never any doubt in the finish (Kane and 'taker one, Finlay did the job).
Next was Kane vs. King Booker. Really not a good match, honestly. Booker was in cruise control here and Kane, as this DVD has proven, really needs someone to guide him through a good match.
Match of the Day goes to Kane vs. Edge (Cage Match).
EDIT: I forgot about the Kane vs. Umaga match that I watched, which actually says more about the match than anything I could have written up.
