Sgt. Slaughter's about to come over to your house to give you a Cobra Clutch.
And now you've just reminded me how bad I went Santino, Punk, and Slaughter to take part in a six man tag just so when Santino starts to do the Cobra move, Slaughter looks at him funny, then looks at Punk's Cobra tattoo and gives him a "You're with Cobra?" look, and then win the match purposely yelling "Yo Joe!"

Brock vs. Cena is gonna be contested under Extreme Rules stipulations.

Isn't that a given, considering the PPV?

Not necessarily. There were reports about a week and a half ago that there wasn't going to be any stipulation at all. I was thinking Brock would get DQed with a Chair-Shot-Aggedon but that doesn't seem likely now, with this news.

I just thought in the past that every match at this PPV has had to have some sort of hardcore gimmick.

I watched the new Edge dvd today and it was really good, probably one of the best dvd sets the WWE has ever put out.

If that's true, WWE should pay the Rock a shitload of money considering less people watch wrestling now.

That's just a wrestling record isn't it? I think Maywhether vs De La Hoya had a lot more buys and revenue.

Day 107.
Watched ROH on SBG. It was definitely a good episode but problematic in nature. They showed matches from Showdown in the Sun, the WM-weekend PPV.
Granted, the PPV was a huge bust because of the well-known so in that sense it's not too much of an annoyance. But this isn't an idea they came up with over night, either, and I can't help but think that they had planned to show these matches in advance. Nothing pisses me off more than paying to see a PPV and then seeing the same match (rematches, meaning) on free TV. Worse than that is seeing ACTUAL PPV matches on free TV. If SITS hadn't been a bust, this could have been a really bad move.
Mike Bennett vs. Lance Storm was great. Bennett's best match in ROH, potentially ever. Storm did a great job of guiding Bennett through the match and there was a great payoff to it.
El Generico vs. Kevin Steen was great as well. A good brawl, but being clipped down kind of kept it from being epic.
Match of the Day goes to Mike Bennett vs. Lance Storm.

I watched it today too and I was thinking the same thing. Why would they show those matches for free?

Thank you Troy for the sig

Like I said, the only argument I could accept is that SITS was a huge fail of a production. But even still they had to know this was going to come up and I don't recall them doing any other road-filming to fill these episodes with.
