I don't understand anything they do with the Divas in general, but that's especially dumb.

It's been reported on several sites (dirt sheets) over the last couple months that the Bellas were not resigning. They took the belt off of Beth Phoenix because Kharma was supposed to be coming back soon and they didn't want her and Beth to go at it when she first came back. They wanted Kharma to come back and destroy the Bellas since they had a built in feud from when she left. They would have written them off TV like that, but since Kharma apparently still isn't ready to return they had to do something else, even though it really made no sense.

I like that he was fighting to repress a smile when Punk came out, then just gave up and embraced his joy for a moment.

I hope these two feud all summer.

Brock Lesnar's match with John Cena at Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view got rave reviews from most fans who saw the show, but Lesnar went ballistic backstage after the match and was screaming at WWE officials and ripping apart the locker room.

According to PWinsider.com, the huge blow-up took place because of the promo John Cena cut after the match.

The original plan was for Cena to be so badly hurt by Lesnar that even though he won, he would be stretchered out, which would keep Lesnar looking strong.

Lesnar perceived Cena's speech as a double cross by WWE officials and totally lost it backstage.

I don't get the logic for Ace to attack Cena

Because Triple H was at the hospital?

Won't the board of directors see? They're not gonna like him attacking the top merch seller

Because Eve told him too? This is why Otunga and his bowtie is better than her :P

Is this supposed to lead to Vince coming back?

The Mid card is just sad. No one feuds with anyone, and if they do, its like a two week thing just so they can get the Intercontinental or US Title holder on the PPV

No one can elevate really in this current climate. Brodus is a novelty act for the kids, Ziggler wasn't even on tv last night, Swagger loses to guys like Santino. They just trade wins back and fourth so no one can truly progress

Like you knew as soon as Swagger was announced as Orton's opponent last night, that there was 0 chance of him winning. I think there should always be a bit of unpredictability to wrestling but nope

I agree RAW and Smackdown right now are more like old school WCW Saturday Night wrestling. You know the outcome of every match before it even begins.

Why are guys like Ziggler, Ryder, Swagger, etc being treated like glorified jobbers? Why do they keep putting dinosaurs like Lawler into matches?

Everyone worried when guys like Austin, Rock, HHH, HBK, and Undertaker left the full time wrestling scene, what was the future gonna hold for the WWE. Well what happens now when Punk, Cena, Orton etc leave, they really are not building any credible future for the company as a whole at all.

here's some to what GLX posted

- As seen on RAW last night, WWE temporarily wrote Brock Lesnar out of the storylines by having his contract status "up in the air" following the attack on Triple H in the opener. WWE's announcers stressed that Lesnar's future is in doubt with the company. WWE only has Lesnar for several dates per month and will have to come up with creative ways to keep him in and out of the storylines.

We noted earlier that Brock Lesnar had a meltdown backstage after his loss to John Cena at Extreme Rules. Lesnar was upset about Cena's post-match promo because the original plan had Cena getting stretchered out. Lesnar felt that he was made to look weak and WWE officials double crossed him.

F4Wonline.com reports that WWE's new mentality with Lesnar is that they're paying a lot of money for a guy who is not their top guy, so he should be used when he can to put over their top talents. People in Lesnar's camp were feeling like WWE was just testing Lesnar by having Cena cut the post-match speech.

Brock was told before the Extreme Rules match that Cena would go out on a stretcher and look totally incapacitated and be injured. Lesnar went nuts backstage in front of everyone, tearing things up and throwing a tantrum. Lesnar specifically yelled at Marc Carano, the assistant to John Laurinaitis, about how things are a mess and everything is wrong in WWE. Some felt that part of the tantrum was just an act by Lesnar to show to the locker room that he could quit at any minute. Some of those same people felt that WWE officials could have been involved in Lesnar trying to work the other talents.

Lesnar also suggested that Cena intentionally pulled down the top rope at Extreme Rules, causing him to nearly blow out his knee in the bad spot towards the end of the match where they both tumbled over to the floor. Again, most believe that there is no real heat between Cena and Lesnar over this and this also could have been part of an act by Lesnar.

Despite what's an act and what's part of the TV storylines, sources insist that Lesnar's status and future with WWE is a sticky situation. While Lesnar vs. Triple H is in the works for SummerSlam, some in the company are already predicting that he will end up working the remaining big pay-per-view events of 2012, Royal Rumble 2013 and then WrestleMania 29 before being done with the company.

What bothers me is that CENA DOESNT NEED TO BE PUT OVER ARE YOU SERIOUS

Lance Storm had a good article about the Brock thing. It was done before the show last night and just sums up a defense of why Brock losing isn't a terrible idea.

Hard to disagree with anything he says there, especially if these stories about Brock blowing up backstage are real.

As for the Cena speech, it's hard to totally believe that it really went down like that. It certainly sounds plausible and could have been that way, but it also feels like the kind of stuff you'd want to leak out about both Brock and Cena to further a storyline and raise anticipation for a potential rematch. :smt102

Don't know about Masters, while he has stepped up massively he still is pretty average, but I'd love to see them throw John Morrison to Austin Aries with instructions to get a 10min match out of it. Helps legitimise the champ with a fitting challenger and also legitimises the competition after the last guy got beaten by Robbie E of all people.

That's what they should have started with instead of the guy they used.
