The beat down on Cena at the end was done well, but it would have been better if it were Lesnar doing the beating. I just can't get into a Cena vs Ace match, even with Tensai involved.

I think like they tend to do they moved things too quickly. They barely had Brock take advantage of his new contract before HHH called him out on his shit. :smt102

At today's Impact tapings, the word about the "new concept" that Hulk Hogan was been saying would "change the business" and be "momentum-shifting" is something where TNA will be calling on their fans to film TNA wrestlers whenever they may encounter them, in or out of the ring.

It almost sounds like a TMZ-style "paparazzi" thing, with people trying to film the every move of the TNA wrestlers.

Early reports are that the idea isn't going over very well with the TNA locker room, with one person pointing out that Hogan is perhaps the last person who should promote something like this with the way his own personal videos are coming back to haunt him these days.

That and probably Jericho and Punk were overseeing it.

Fuck you WWE writers. Fuck you. Why the fuck wouldn't this be Ziggler? Oh that's right, because they are wasting him on pointlessness. So why not Clay or Ryback or whatever?

I don't get this.

And if Bryan doesn't win in under the time, I really don't get this (unless Shamus costs him or something). This guy was fighting for the title last night, he was champ heading into WM, he made Shamus pass out, and he's fighting a senior citizen.

That said, Lawler can put on a decent match from time to time still and Bryan could put on a great match with a broom, so this should at least be OK.

I didn't mind Lawler so much after the fact. The match was fun and I liked how he tapped right away.

I mean, I thought there might be a beating here, but not that Ace would finally snap and get involved, much less start it.

Wow, this was a crazy ending to the show. I hope this doesn't lead to Ace getting "fired", and I'd be totally OK with the match never happening and this beating just leading to Cena being out for a while. Even if Brock did most of the work, these guys finishing him off is pretty great.

Strong end to a very uneven show.

The match itself sounds dumb but I liked Ace dropping the clown act and getting serious. I was hoping he'd do the Ace Crusher on Cena.

I think either the segment needed to be much shorter or HHH needed to wait longer to come out. Either way, we needed less HHH talking, IMO.

We need to cut at least 50% of all of the talking.

I just don't want to see this becoming another Cena/Coachman kind of thing where we saw $#!t like Cena having to watch his dad have to face AWOL Lad in the ring.

This.

This is why A.M. RAW is so bad ass.

You get everything but they cut the ten minutes Cena stands staring at Ryder's ambulance.

I really don't see Brock lasting long with the WWE. He's just not a "plays well with others" kind of guy, and tends to wear out his welcome quickly.

Day 122.

I watched RAW Starring Brock Lesnar today. I was kind of surprised because given the criticism, I didn't expect what I got. I thought it was an excellent episode.

The opening segment was great. Triple H did go a bit long and seemed to ramble, but it wasn't bad enough to derail the segment or anything. And Brock going psycho on him was all kinds of awesome. Especially the parts where you could tell Triple H was trying to mount a comeback but Brock wouldn't let him! Anyway, it was a great segment overall.

I like the Beat the Clock challenge. I didn't originally, but after seeing a few it's really grown on me. I love the psychology involved and the logic behind some matches being shortened. It makes sense that they'd go by quick because people are rushing to get as quick a win as possible, as opposed to matches going by so quick because the bookers put together a 14-match show. Some of the matches were good (Danielson/King, Santino/Miz), some really good (Show/Jericho, Orton/Swagger), especially within the confines of the time they had, but man did Khali vs. Kane suck.

Brodus/JTG was a fine squash. R-Truth/Kofi vs. The Colons was, well, whatever. The belts are a waste, but at least they're not on a jobber-team anymore.

The main event segment was awesome, made even moreso because of the great crowd reactions. Cena was over like rover on this episode of RAW and it was great. The back and forth between Ace and Cena was perfectly fine, but when Ace went all apeshit it escalated into awesomeness. Another great part was Cole losing his shit because of it, acknowledging that Ace was being an idiot for what he was doing. I'm actually anticipating the idea of Cena vs. Ace match if solely because this will be one of those rare occasions where you get a Wrestler vs. Authority Figure match and the Authority Figure actually used to be a wrestler.

Match of the Day goes to Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger.

The booking is just terrible. They have no idea what to do with anyone. The only feud that makes sense is Punk/Bryan.

Ace attacking Cena is stupid, because they've never really had a contentious feud. Wouldn't he have snapped with Punk a while ago?

Funkasaurus has been squashing people for too long. Ziggler has been buried. The Bellas winning the belt then leaving was pointless.

There is no focus to anyone under Cena.
