I really didn't think I could love AJ more, but the skipping is just so fantastic the last couple of weeks, in addition to her great promos and amazing facial expressions and whatnot.

Anyways, I really enjoyed that match.

Contract on a pole match? I knew Russo was gone from TNA, but didn't realize he had returned to WWE.

Other than that, it was a nice segment and I'm sure it will be a good match.

With Clay fighting Big Show, it would have been nice if he didn't spend 5 minutes dancing and instead came out all business like he did on Friday. Especially after the way Friday played out.

Hopefully this is just a preview and they get a rematch at SummerSlam or something, as I think this could be a great thing for Clay, and the way they played up the injury certainly makes it feel like this isn't ending here. I certainly wasn't expecting these two to fight tonight after watching Smackdown, but the way this played out Show can claim victory and Clay can say the attack last week caused this and want a shot at him when he's healthy.

For what it was, I thought it was a decent match. I think Clay looked huge and athletic here in a way that's much better than seeing him squash jobbers.

Not really looking forward to Brock's reaction next week, unless it's actually Heyman doing the reaction or Brock is just beating the shit out of people again.

AJ and Kane backstage was fantastic. "And even I find you mentally unstable"

Her reaction after he left was that great crazy stuff she does so well where she just flips emotions in a second and you can't tell what's going on at all (but in a good way). God, I love everything about her character right now and this whole storyline with the three guys and her.

Swagger and Santino, a match featuring two wasted talents.

That said, it was a pretty decent match because these guys are both really talented and made teh silliness of it work for the most part. As long as I don't focus on the fact that WWE seems to have no idea how to use Swagger, despite him being a perfect heel that can work with guys of any size and Santino is a guy that can wrestle and is insanely popular with the crowd despie never being allowed to show his actual in ring ability, that is.

The fact the announcers are talking about how losing to Santino is terrible for Swagger because Santino is a joke, despite the fact he's a fucking champion right now, just shows how poorly they are using these guys.

But, if you ignore all fo that, it was a pretty fun silly little match.

Is it just me, or does having a Del Rio themed MITB commercial talking about how he needs to win the MITB match show that he has no hope of winning on Friday?

Seems kind of dumb to give him a #1 contender match when he has no hope of winning the title. :smt102

This Star Wars promo is just ridiculous, and not in a good way.

The Yoda voice almost made up for it. That was pretty great.

The first ever no contest in a pole match. Never thought I'd see the day. That is a typical Russo logic result.

Wait, so Jericho is a face again (I can't tell), Cena can put himself in the MITB match however he wants (not that I think that's a bad idea, as I think he'd be a great guy to win it and then lose his cashing in attempt), I think a Jericho vs Cena feud would be fun if they wanted to go that route for the next few months since the Orton thing clearly isn't happening.

I always forget how old the MITB match is.

Oh, so now Jericho can put himself in the match as well? What the fuck?

Oh, look, here's Vickie, hopefully to tell these guys to shut up about putting themselves in the match. Glad they are doing two matches, one for each show. And I like that she said they can't put themselves in the matches. Good stuff. I don't know how I feel about having the RAW one including only former champs, since it can be a nice way to elevate a guy like Bryan a few months ago or Punk or Edge or whomever, but on the other hand a former champ winning like this could be a great set up for the first MITB loser without killing a young guy's momentum. I don't get why Vickie started so confrontational and then put both guys in the match, but whatever. I look forward to these two fighting each other.

Slater is great at making other guys look good, but he deserves better than being stuck in the ring fighting old guys each week. I can't watch Sid without thinking of that broken leg.

That said, he did a good job of making Sid look decent considering his age and physical limitations.

I thought Ziggler broke his foot on that Samoan Drop from the corner. It just looked like it landed awkwardly for a moment, but then Ziggler does that kind of stuff so often it always looks like that.

This ending turned this into a huge sloppy mess. I don't get how Ziggler getting the contract down isn't a win. :smt102

Shamus coming out to tell everyone this match was pointless and that it's just going to be a triple threat match just makes this even more pointless. It makes Vickie coming out and talking like Cena and Jericho aren't going to get what they want just to give them what they want seem logical.

Just a stupid ending that ruined what could have been a decent match between two talented guys. I should have realized it was almost impossible to salvage this kind of dumb gimmick.

I really don't get what anyone was thinking here.

Punk and AJ backstage was just fantastic. Again, the looks and reactions just made it perfect, and again, I just love this stuff.

The Diva stuff was awful.

Re-purposing the Great American Bash name for a special live Smackdown on July 3rd is brilliant.

Cena in the ring with a guy like Jericho always promises to be a good time.

I was sad to see Show come out and distract Cena, as this was fine without him and they really didn't need the added stuff. the Cena vs Show feud should be done. I get they are all in the MITB match, but there's room to build to that in future weeks while it would have been nice to just see this match play out.

Overall, some really dumb stuff, but some good stuff as well. Kind of a mixed bag of a show. There's always so much wasted time, I really don't see how they will fill 3 hours on a weekly basis without it getting really tedious most weeks. They just don't seem to know how to balance time as is, making a 50% increase in time doesn't seem like a good idea.
