Sting wouldn't have been pushed too well in the WWF. He'd already made a name for himself by that time and Vince really doesn't seem to like that (this covers everything from trademark rights/marketing to Vince's seeming belief that he is a god when it comes to creating stars).

While they weren't too similar, I think Vince would've had a been there done that feel with Sting considering the push he'd given to his old Blade Runners partner, The Warrior Formerly Known As Jim Hellwig.

If he did and got the push, I don't think it would've made Sting any bigger of a name than he already is. I don't think his being in the WWF would've changed that fact that wrestling was trending downward in terms of popularity and creatively. He still would've jobbed to Yoko so Hogan could beat him right afterwards for the title. And, him wrestling Doink would've been no more interesting than anyone else wrestling Doink. Sting, also, was having a great run at the time against the likes of Vader, Cactus Jack, Rick Rude, and others. Wouldn't change that for the world.

Lastly, the only upside to him being in the WWF is that--maybe---we wouldn't have had the mini-movie stuff with Cheatum the One-Eyed Midget.

Good point. But if Vince could have put his pride aside he'd have had a shot.

Plus, don't forget it was a different time then. Vince had no problem pushing Luger to the moon or giving Flair a huge push, no reason to think he wouldn't have done the same for Sting at that time.

- A WWE source indicates that there is something big planned for Tyson Kidd. His qualifying for Money in the Bank and the push on RAW last night are apparently the start of something bigger for Kidd.

He's at least getting a feud with Tensai. Hopefully, it'll lead to bigger and better things.

i think sting would have been given a fair chance, he had a look that the WWE marketing could have pushed on kids like Cena today, this is per-attitude/new generation era, but then again it would be interesting how he would have evolved in WWE as opposed to WCW, would he have stayed the blonde colorful guy or maybe lose the paint, probably would not have seen crow sting.

Kenny King, who is half of the ROH tag champs currently, is going to be on Impact tonight. Ominous times ahead for ROH, I feel.

I remember posting this quote from Aries a while back:
'll be really honest with you, the Ring of Honor today is not anything like the Ring of Honor that the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and myself came from. Obviously they are still operating under the same name, but the company has changed so much over the years and it's really a shell of it's former self in terms of the vision and thought process. The original Ring of Honor and the Ring of Honor today are two completely different things, I like to call it Smokey Mountain of Honor.

That's starting to have a lot more truth to it now. And Jim Cornette is involved with both

Earl Hebner's a lucky referee

Wonder if he's going to cut a "I screwed Madison" promo soon.

Flip Casanova is Flip Kendrick..Dakota Darsow is the son of Barry Darsow aka Demolition Smash.

Dakota isn't getting a warm reception from the crowd.

Jesus, if Flip botched that Shooting Star Legdrop he could've crushed Darsow's ribcage.

That means the next match is Lars Only (Johnny Yuma of PWG) vs Kenny King who Dixie tweeted about under his ROH name.

Kinda is an ominous sign when she uses the other company's name for him. Doubly so if he progresses to Destination X.

Kenny King deserves this. Yuma reminds me too much of Brian Kendrick and that's one X-Division era I don't want again.

Kenny King wins. Totally deserved. Nice after-match promo too. Near the end that russian legsweep botch was disappointing....when Taz outright says "that sucked" while in the booth you know it's bad.

He strikes me as the Austin Aries of this years round. The rest have their strengths but King stands out that much more.
