I feel like JTG could have been used as something of a solid mid-card guy, and that Crime Time could have been a pretty good tag team (or he could have been a good tag guy with someone else), but they really dropped the ball with him.

Brodus really needs a real feud.

As for Brodus, I'd eventually position him into a record (I think he has still never been pinned or tapped...may have lost a match, though) vs record match with Ryback. It is a one and done thing but, they could build it for a few weeks. Barring something big, The Funkasaurus has peaked as a character. He's more or less in Sin Cara's special attraction land. After they milk the dancing with the kids thing, I hope they just have him lose some and turn monster heel. I don't think they can really do anything with him until then.

I liked him when he first showed up as a bodyguard a couple years ago, and he's athletic for a guy his size. I think even as a dancing guy he can work if he's given real feuds and treats the in ring stuff seriously. I thought the Big Show feud was a great idea and good setup, but then they just didn't do anything with it and don't seem to have any interest in going that route.

I do think a Rybak undefeated vs undefeated thing could be fun. Good call.

Agreed. They don't need a TV title, they just need to treat the US and IC titles like they matter and build actual divisions for those. And hopefully the tag belts as well, though that's probably a lost cause.

While I worry about the finish being Cena walking out with the title, I think they'll probably give Cena and Punk plenty of time to tell a good story in the ring. Also, barring them giving him five minutes and total crap to work with, Christian almost never disappointsTo the same extent, I think you are right about--at least--the first hour. They've already convinced me that it will be somewhat missable by putting such an emphasis on it being "interactive." dX segments can sometimes go a little long in the tooth, too. I almost wish they'd go ahead and give us Ziggler and Jericho but I understand if they hold off and let it simmer a bit.

Honestly, they had every right tonight to make this the most missable show of the year. Instead, they surprised quite a few of us and put on a good show. I think they at least understand that they can't make the first three hour show a complete stinker and will go all in to give us plenty of action to keep us tuning in for what will probably be a second week crapfest. If we're lucky, then Bonnie brought the "Hammer" down and told Vince that she expects it to be three quality hours.

I'm still going to be in disagreement here. I don't mind them adding a title so long as it is exclusively on NXT. Maybe, they could do something like the old "Beat the Champ" tv title from SMW with the extra twist of those successfully defending for x amount of times will get elevated to one of the main rosters. They could even use that as a way for some of the veterans on the show vying to get back on one of the main rosters.

That said, it would be a completely stupid idea for them to put another title on Raw or Smackdown. They've already bastardized the tag titles to such a degree that they united the titles and still can't make anything resembling a quality tag team division. Same goes for the Diva's title. Further, the longer Santino holds it, the US strap sinks deeper and deeper into a mire of irrelevancy that it has been knee deep in for a long time. They could just merge it in with the Intercontinental title and no one would really care. The title concept isn't really Vince's baby anyway. As such, it will never get treated as anything of importance. It isn't like Vince seems to really care about pushing the brand splits anymore, either. So, what's the point of pointless props?

Yeah, he was great in the bodyguard role. Honestly, originally intended as punishment or not, I was flabbergasted when they had him come out as the Funkasaurus after pushing him returning as a monster for so long. It just seemed to come out of nowhere.

So, maybe--and I emphasize maybe--we haven't seen the end of Punk's title reign after all. What better way to celebrate your win over the biggest star in the company and the first MitB winner to lose than by getting a new title? Just a thought.

Yeah I definitely think one way or another that we will see a new title belt for the WWE Champion next week.

Also to comment on what I think rdrsfan said, I don't care at all about another DX reunion unless it was an actual DX reunion with HHH, HBK, Road Dogg, Mr Ass, and X-Pac, that would be something I would like to see at least one more time.

Cena cashing it in next week is good for me, at least we don't have to wait, good or bad, unless they swerve us and Cena gets taken out before the match, i men if someone steals the briefcase from Cena can they cash it in

In the past, you have not been able to steal a briefcase to take the title shot.

The only time someone lost their briefcase was when Kennedy put it on the line against Edge and then lost.
