The only times I have ever thought Taker might actually lose were the first time he faced HBK and the second time he faced HHH. I actually felt it was possible and within reason that Taker would lose to one of them, I just don't get that feeling about Punk vs Taker or any of the guys in the Fatal 4 Way tonight.
If the streak ends, it won't be against guys like Triple H or Shawn Michaels. Triple H really doesn't have that much time left in his wrestling career and as much as I like Shawn Michaels, the man was on borrowed time from the moment he returned in 2002. When and if the WWE chooses to end the streak, it's going to be too a guy like Punk who will fully benefit from the magnitude of the occasion. If he takes care of himself, Punk still has plenty of time left in his clock and he has already begun to establish himself as one of the biggest stars in the WWE. Beating the Undertaker at Wrestlemania could finally push him to the point where people stop looking at him asking "can he?" and instead start asking "can we?"
