Well that explains this, though I'm betting they weren't expecting the bottles and other hard rubbish:

At last night’s TNA Lockdown PPV, the company planted several fans in the crowd to begin throwing trash at Bully Ray once he was revealed at the Aces & Eights president.

The hope was that if a few planted fans started to throw trash that many more would join in, which is what happened.

Security was notified of this beforehand and were told not to kick anyone out.

This sounds like bullshit. There's nothing up on WON web site about it unless it's on an audioshow I haven't listened to.
