Punchy wrote:It looks like Impact has settled into a rhythm now where the live shows are good and the taped ones are bad.

This week's was live, and I liked it, apart from the D-Lo being kicked out out of Aces & Eights stuff, which is lame.

There was a good Knockouts Tag Match, which featured Gail Kim going uber-heel by attacking Tara post-match.

The No.1 Contenders match between Bad Influence and Roode/Aries was amazing, until James Storm just kicked everyone in the face and it ended with no clear winner. I like most of the people in the tag division, but they need to add more teams! Give Storm a partner! Get DOC and Knox in there!

Speaking of DOC, he and Magnus had a decent match too, but it was involved in the stupid D-Lo stuff, much better was the beat-down that Magnus got after the match, which was brutal as hell.

I like that they are starting to put some stories into the X Division, they had a few storyline-free matches to establish the new method of doing matches, and now we've got cocky heel Champion Kenny King and plucky underdog who's just back from injury Chris Sabin. This was a very effective segment, and even though I know jack-shit about Sabin, I now want him to win. I wonder if they'll given Petey Williams a story too. And what's the deal with this Suicide fella?

The main-event stuff was pretty great too, Bully Ray and Devon are kicking ass like it's 1999. At one point Bully does this amazing drop-kick, I couldn't believe a dude built like him could jump like that, he's on top of his game and such a great villain. I did feel like Kurt Angle was being a bit of a dick to AJ Styles, but then Kurt has always been a dick, it's true, it's damn true.

So it turns out that the 3rd member of Sting and Kurt's team was... Abyss! I know nothing about Abyss apart from that he's Joseph Park, but it was certainly a surprising moment, and he kicked ass, kind of like a Kane/Mankind hybrid. I wonder how this development effects Joseph Park, are we meant to think they are Kayfabe different people? Has Joseph Park snapped after his bathroom beat-down and reverted to Abyss? Is Park just pretending to be his 'brother'? It's very interesting. If Park/Abyss is becoming the new Mick Foley, with different 'faces', I'd be down with that.

One thing I like about TNA is it's use of continuity, it's been doing that a lot lately with Kaz and Daniels' attempts to bring back Fourtune and now Roode apologising to Storm for betraying him. At WWE it often seems like only the last few months actually count (for example, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes must have wrestled each other 3 or 4 times this year, and only once have they mentioned they used to be in a stable together), but TNA is better at playing the long game and bringing interesting tidbits back and using that to build stories.

James Storm is TNA's Sheamus. :P

The heel vs heel tag match was really good. I got a good laugh both guys were blinded and tried the fake tag out.

Also, Mark Henry is God.

I think he was just trying to hype up Ryback after Cena’s stupid promo on Monday. :smt102

Mark Henry should never lose again!

Are you nuts? Heel Ryback is like, 20 times more interesting than Face Ryback.

Plus, he has an awesome beanie hat.

The best things about Raw last night were Fandango's outfit, Big E, Daniel Bryan, Ryback's continued game-plan, and AJ's weird submission.

Ryback's hat is fucking dumb. I'd rather he went back to being a cowboy. :P They give him a lot of stupid shit to say.

Really glad Big E won the poll, I was looking forward to that match on Friday.

AJ’s submission is awesome! It’s the octopus Punchy! Too bad she’s not wrestling Natalya again cause there’s now way they don’t blunder it with Kaitlyn. :P

I really liked Roman Reigns’ super punches. Especially the heart punch.

Yeah, Reigns' Superman punch was awesome.

I should have mentioned The Shield, but it kind of goes without saying that they are fucking amazing.

I can't wait for them to win those titles on Sunday.

Austin Aries will apparently be disciplined for sexual harassment after Christy Hemme botched his and Roode's entrance:

TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter addressed Austin Aries’ lewd behavior towards ring announcer Christy Hemme on last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling with a stern statement via Twitter this afternoon.

“TNA has ZERO tolerance for inappropriate behavior,” she wrote. “The incident with Austin Aries was taken very seriously and handled immediately.”

David Schwarz, Senior Vice President of Communications for Spike TV, stated this week to Mark Madden of Wrestlezone.com that action would be taken against Aries for his public form of sexual harassment towards the veteran Knockout.

“We have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment,” said Schwarz. “We discussed [the incident] with our partner. [Aries is] being disciplined. I’m trying to get more information on what action is being taken. Dixie Carter took this very personally. He will be disciplined. Again, we have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment.

“I’m not sure specifically how [the discipline] will be handled. To what extent, I don’t know. This is certainly something we don’t condone and don’t tolerate. Such behavior is not welcome.”

In response to whether Aries’ discipline should be made public since Hemme was harassed on national television, Schwarz responded, “I think that a statement of some sort will be coming. That’s being worked out. But immediate action will be taken.”

Following the event, Hemme voiced her displeasure with Aries’ actions via Twitter, deeming it “unacceptable.” Late Saturday night, Aries appeared to address the incident though the social networking outlet, writing, “Pretty nuts, some of the junk people get the balls to say over the net, knowing they couldn’t to your face…Eh, anyway, time to sack out.”

I didn't see this, is it a work or real?

In response to whether Aries’ discipline should be made public since Hemme was harassed on national television, Schwarz responded, “I think that a statement of some sort will be coming. That’s being worked out. But immediate action will be taken.”

On the show, Hemme mistakenly introduced Aries and tag team partner Bobby Roode as their opponents for the evening, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. This led Aries to corner Hemme in the ring as he intimidated her into correctly introducing him before climbing onto a mid-level turnbuckle and shoving his groin near her face.

I didn't give Aries' actions much thought at the time, but yeah, it was a pretty shitty thing to do.

I don't care what fans are trying to say, that was not planned in anyway whatsoever.

And they think Hemme was laughing about it afterwards therefore it shouldn't be a big deal. Redneck idiots.

And shame on Chavo for saying the same damn thing.

Hey Stephen have you watched the Kenta Kobashi retirement match?

He looked pretty good but it was tough to see him when he moves around. Still chopped the shit out of dudes though.

Enjoyed the match but it was like 70 percent chops. :P I hadn’t seen KENTA or Go Shiazaki in a while to it was nice to see them again.

The reactions he got were pretty amazing, especially when hit the lariat on that poor guy, and when he motioned for the moonsault. They went nuts! And the moonsault looked super soft, like a pillow landing. Pretty impressive for such a big dude.
