This is why I can't get into The Shield. Sure they've got a lot of buzz, but what happens when they start getting pinned in matches? Seems like another Goldberg scenario to me.

You're literally the only person who doesn't like The Shield.

from what the dirt sheets are saying they might meet their demise around summer slam as one of the rumors is Undertaker is going to get his revenge via the brothers of destruction, but like all rumors you never know.

I like how they can lose individually, but not collectively, which is different from the Goldberg method.

My understanding right now is that Tuguchi's injury is legitimate. It's a shame, because if what I suspect is true, and the final was supposed to be Tuguchi getting revenge on Devitt and setting things up for a title match where he would take the title, a wrench was thrown into the works at the worst possible time. Having said that Taka Michinoku being his replacement would still make for a good semi-final and I'm sure the Shelley/Devitt final was a good match too.

I'm looking forward to checking out these matches when I can. :)

Love the quote from the fan.

I don’t know Stephen, I like your idea for the final but that guy getting injured may have been for the best. Devitt just dominating so badly could turn out really good.

I’m not one to make proclamations like this but, Daniel Bryan for wrestler of the year! He’s just been at a whole different level than everyone else.

The wide shot of the crowd yesing with him was so cool.

True enough, and I don't know for certain that Taguchi is legitimately injured or not. With the media, both here and in Japan, that reports on pro wrestling in Japan often reporting storylines as if they were real, it's difficult at times to tell what's real and what isn't. It's part of what makes following this stuff fun as you can sit back and just become a fan so easily. It does have it's drawbacks though and this situation is a good example of that.

I've always said X7.

TLC2, Benoit vs Angle, HHH vs Undertaker, Shane vs Vince, Rock vs Austin.

I still don't think any of them has actually been pinned (unless I missed something). It's just been a lot of DQ losses or no contests.

Sting said on Impact today that we're going to get a new Main Event Mafia.

Oh boy. Time will tell whether writers will dig this page of TNA history out of the ditch it's been buried in or not.
