I don't get the station with Impact so I haven't seen Sting wrestle in ages... but based on his yearly WrestleMania matches Taken, even older Taker, can still go. For the last 5 years IMO his matches have been the best of Wrestlemania outshining the hype of the main events BY FAR.

Its nasty that Undertaker only has a certain number of mania matches left in him and not one but two were spoiled on triple h.

An update on the injury BJ Whitmer suffered at the show in Toronto last night:

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/276191- ... bed-a-more

B.J. Whitmer talked with PWInsider this morning, updating them on the status and severity of his injures suffered at this weekend's Ring of Honor live event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

According to their most recent report, Whitmer immediately lost feeling in the right side of his body when his head came down on the ring apron, following a piledriver from Michael Bennett. Several trained EMTs, including Davey Richards, came down to check on him, and the match was then called off as a stretcher took him out of the arena.

B.J. is up and moving out of bed, and has regained full use of the right side of his body, and has movement in his back. While he said he is still feeling the pain, movement is definitely a great sign. He will be undergoing a full range of tests today, but X-Rays have already shown that he does not have any fractures, but has most likely ruptured a disc in his back.

Glad you had a good time Stephen. The wife and I plan on hitting the Tennessee/Alabama doubleshot in September.

Thanks, other than the Whitmer injury it was a good show. It always sucks to see that sort of thing and it sucks even more live. When you're sitting in the audience, you have no idea what actually happened, at least if you're watching on TV the announcers can give you some clue.

Considering the first one pushed the streak to an even higher level than it was before, it was obvious a second match was probably gonna happen.

Hopefully it would be something like Taker vs Cena or Rock or Lesnar next year. As much as I'd like to see Rock vs Lesnar (which needs to get done before Vince loses one or both their services), Rock vs Taker would make for a monumental PPV where it would be hard to predict whether or not the streak would end that nignt beforehand.

I wish Bryan had come out to his match with his suit coat on. In a mocking gesture. :P

I sure hope not, he really adds to Del Rio’s act. And I really like him.

Wish they had finished their match.

WWE.com has posted an article that says Sheamus suffered a torn labrum in his left shoulder and will be having surgery to repair the injury next week. His current timetable to return is "four to six months".

The article mentions that the injury happened during the "All-Stars" Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and has only been further aggravated since.

This will be the Celtic Warrior's very first surgery, according to the man himself.

It feels like they're not taking Daniel Bryan seriously. I know they're deliberately working that into the feud but something tells me that the whole point of that is to fuel a HHH/Vince passing-the-torch feud. HHH backing the fan favourite feels to me like its designed to have him coming out smelling of roses as a face in this passing-the-torch feud with a heel McMahon. Giving Daniel Bryan makeovers, using him as a tool to get HHH over as a face and even that stupid, stupid 'The Beard is Here' t-shirt in the lead up to what is being sold as a match where he might win the title rubs me up the wrong way.

The guys in this thread who said Orton cashes in are totally right. Maybe Bryan will get a win for a cheap pop and then Orton cashes in or whatever but I can't see him coming out with the belt. Maybe that's just WWE being clever and throwing us off the scent. I doubt it though.

The bit that leaves the worst taste in my mouth though is behind the whole makeover, wearing a suit, getting slagged by McMahon comedy shit was a potentially dyno promo from Bryan where he said Cena gets fired he goes back home, I get fired and I go to the indies, because i love wrestling.
