I've been watching New Japan's live PPV. It's been a good show so far. Best match of the night so far just finished -- Katsuyori Shibata vs Tomohiro Ishii. Ishii performed a lot better than I thought he would. Wow, has he ever improved.

Intermission has started with Koji Kanemoto (who was Tiger Mask III) calling out Tiger Mask IV. The two of them introduced the trailer for the upcoming Tiger Mask movie. It looks like it could be fun.

We're back from Intermission with Yuji Nagata vs Kazushi Sakuraba.

A couple of the Gracies come down to the ring with Sakuraba. They challenge any New Japan tag-team to a match at the Jan 4 Tokyo Dome Show -- that could be interesting. I wonder who they're going to face?

Nagata/Sakuraba was one of the matches I was really looking forward to seeing on this show. It was shorter than I thought it would be, but still very technical and fun to watch.

Nagata accepted their challenge. Sakuraba stood up and asked to be his partner and Nagata accepted.

Cool, Nagata and Sakuraba teaming up against two of the Gracies -- sorry, they introduced themselves when they made the challenge, but I didn't catch which ones they are. That could be very interesting.

The next match is Tetsuya Naito vs Yujiro Takahashi. Naito holds both the IWGP Openweight Title and the guaranteed main event title shot at the Jan 4 Tokyo Dome Show. Both things are on the line in this match.

Ouch, nasty drop kick from Takahashi to Naito's knee to begin the match. Wow, Takahashi has really been going after the knee from the ring of the bell.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Noamichi Marufuji is the next match. I think I may have been looking forward to this more than any other on this show.

I forgot to mention that Nakamura's IWGP Intercontinental Title is on the line.

Minoru Suzuki comes out after the match. He seems to be challenging Nakamura for the title. I'm not sure if it's for the Dome Show or not. It could be that or just at the next PPV.
