fieldy snuts wrote:Hi JR, What do you think a wrestling company like TNA would have to do to generate more interest in its product?

J.R.'s Answer:
A blue print is costly and isn't free but it's there to do. I hope that they get hot. That helps the overall business.

Is he saying he'd help them out for a price?

I think they need to change some things to be a little more competitive, WCW was always chasing Vince until Turner put a little extra money in and made Nitro and of course the NWO . I think TNA is that one idea away, I just haven't figured it out yet

No, TNA isn't. It is destined, until it's demise, to be #2.

Someone sent an e-mail into Scott Keith that, when thinking about it, will blow your mind.

How in the world are there no "YES~!" foam fingers? They would make a killing off those and just imagine the visual of a packed crowd with all those foam fingers!

How was El Desperado's debut? This was one of the things that was intriguing me about this card. Sadly, I didn't have the money this month to order it.

He was in the opener. He has a miscue here or there but otherwise nothing bad.

OK good, New Japan's Jr division is one of the aspects of their company that I feel they need to work on a little more at this point. It's good to know they have another addition there that's alright.

Here's a question: I love BUSHI. How come he's not more prominently featured in the division?

Part of the problem I think is that there's always been an internal bias in New Japan against those who weren't directly trained by New Japan's dojo. BUSHI was trained by All Japan Pro Wresting's dojo, put on loan by All Japan to New Japan and eventually signed by New Japan. It's possible to overcome this bias if you have enough in ring talent, someone like Kota Ibushi for instance. BUSHI is alright, but I don't think he's ever going to have the talent to overcome the fact that he isn't a New Japan trueborn.

Koff on the Matt Hardy and Reby Sky incident: "It did appear on TMZ and it did happen. Of course, it happened so much earlier than it was finally reported. You know, I gotta tell you something, John, there was really not a lot about it. I saw the stuff on TMZ and I saw a couple of Facebook comments about Matt wrestling in Philadelphia. I think it was really not a big deal. I don't have a position on that. I think that charges were dropped.

"You never want to get involved in domestic spats and domestic relationship and domestic disputes, but if a court of law or the judicial system could find no fault with it, I don't feel that's something we necessarily have to take a stance on. I'm not sherking that. I think the fact that C.M. Punk said he wasn't going to wrestle for WWE or when that story came out right around that same time, I think it kind of overshadowed it... I think had the outcome had been different from a judicial standpoint or a charge standpoint, I can't say, but really it was a domestic battle that got... You know, they're two wrestlers, they're probably two physical people."

This guys stance on domestic abuse.....not even Jeff at his worst was booked for beating his wife, just shows how bad Matt is

Joe Koff is the dirt worst, I'm pretty sure. Up there with Dixie and Vince, easy.

After one of the iPPV disasters is response was something to the effect of "Well what do you expect for how much you're paying?"

The fuck?

I see that but I think Bryan/Michaels comparisons are made because he’s just good in anything they have him do.
