Yeah I agree, watching it again today made me feel the same. The parts with Emma were cool but I can't stand Storm. I hope she is not a permanent fixture on the team and just sits by Charles side.

i liked the emma parts of the episode, but i couldn't stand Storm's voice... maybe its because i'm so used to the 90s version, i just can't help but think they made her sound "too" african

Well, she grew up in Africa, what's wrong with her sounding like she's African?

I think it's the fact that she was not proactive in the episode in any way. She reacts to the Shadow King, she reacts to the damage, she reacts to the knowledge of what happened to Charles. She seemed far too indecisive compared to the Storm of the comics.

That could be it for sure, the one thing I am pleased with that even though this was just a one off villain of the week episode, it still kept that ongoing plot line feel to it.

When is the next episode?
This series is delivering on all points so far. I even liked the Storm episode, it was a nice change not to hear the corny 90's version which always annoyed me. She sounded like a fucking golden girl back then.
