I have another question, what about characters that have been played by multiple actors?

But can someone add a different version of the character to the list?

No. Because it's still the same character.

That'd be like having a top 10 list of comic book characters and having several spots taken up by the same character just written by different writers.

Yeah, I'd put Jules as #4. While he is cool, he isn't as great as 1,2, and 3 but greater than those below that.

I gotta disagree. What about George Clooney's Batman and Christian Bale's Batman -- those are two totally different characters. Bale's is a lot more darker, depressed, vindictive, vengeful, unstable, serious. Clooney's having a party with Robin, Batgirl, and his rubber nipples -- everything's a joke.

I've got a character in my top 3 that's been played by several actors, but one of the actors portrays that character head-and-shoulders above the rest in my opinion.

When it comes to Batman, if we name anyone but Adam West, I will consider this thread to be nonsense.

And you can pick him, but only one version of that character is allowed.

Okay, fair enough -- I've got Jules directly behind John McClane. If I was to rate everyone on the list so far, then it would be:

John McClane
Jules
The Bride
Rick Blaine
Rooster Cogburn
Daniel LaRusso
Jimmy "The Saint" Tosnia

Ok.. so we've got a couple votes for Jules at #4, a couple for #1 and a couple for #2.
