I'm scouring e-bay for my gift...couple of auctions ending tomorrow and the next day so hopefully my gift will be purchased and shipped by the weekend...i may be going over the price limit but we'll see

Yeah would still feel bad though if I got someone something they already had or something they just didn't like or want.

That happened to me last year. I got a couple trades that I already had. I didn't really make a wishlist though. I ended up PMing my Secret Santa and apologizing for returning his gift, and that it wasn't like Yoni with a PF Changs gift card. I got the credit and wound up using it to get my mom a mothers day gift.

More recently, my big bro went to the west coast and picked me up some records. One of them I already have a copy of, so now I have two copies. I kind of want to gift it to someone but none of my friends deserve it (my friends suck). I'ma see if my best friend gets me anything, and then I'll give it to him.

Sounds like me. I felt guilty about making a wish list and just wanted my SS to go with the spirit of a really neat suprise. Maybe an Amazon gift card or something along those lines if you're really hung up about it?

EDIT: Apologies if it is me or if someone is having a similar situation with me. I'm new at the Outhouse SS and don't want to make a bad first impression. Iofo it at work every year, and it's me buying for either ten year older or ten year younger women. Who knew they made socks with built in aloe?
