The season finale was awesome.

I'm browsing around and it looks like Seasons 1-4 are coming out as a package deal for $130 bucks.

I might have to pick that up.

First, Duckula makes a thread saying he's going to the outhouse.
Kent Horton says: I almost pity the Outhouse. Almost.
PT replies:I don't pity them. They're doing their own thing and that's cool. I just don't want any of them to come back here later.

And then he figures that wasn't enough, so he makes a thread out of it

Nieto: You know, it's strange: I've seen more threads here berating others for going elsewhere than I have actual goodbye threads. It makes me wonder which set of posters are whinier: the ones who quietly slipped away or post less or the ones who won't stop complaining about them.



As to the Outhouse: Kent and James, you are both welcome over there as ever. James, I'm sorry that there are one or two posters there that you don't like, but that hardly seems reason to slam us so readily and so much (especially from someone who used to be a moderator there). You know I love ya buddy, but still.

I have to admit, the new boards suck. It seems dead over there. If we got Puncy, Skywatcher and a few others ove rhere more regually, I wouldn't even check that place out.

The twenty somethings keep that place alive :p

Another thing that annoys me is when I see guys like Kent Horton keep repeating stuff like "well, those that left weren't worth having around anyway" and such..

For someone that lives in a glass house, Horton loves chucking stones around, doesn't he?

Maybe he's lurking, but he doesn't appear to be involved at all. I see him in the subforums from time to time, but it appears that he's mostly focused on content now.

That sucks. The online version of MattB was always fun when he'd pop in like an even-headed Mr. Mxyzptlk. (IRL, he's a bit different, imo.)
