I haven't gone to sleep yet, but hoping to get in some video games with the kids tomorrow. Gotta go food shopping too.

I was trying to do some reading - Northrop Frye, always good value - but Aurora is wondering around with a triangle. I suspect I'm going to have to put something aggressively cheerful on the DVD player...

I think I going to unpack the cabinet UPS dropped off at our front door two weeks ago. One of our 200+ neighbors is named Smith, used bogus contact info and ordered this thing from a big box retailer online. Big box said we could haul it to a store, I said no and they hung up on me while "transferring" my call.

Since our apartment number is on the billing invoice I figured whoever ordered it would be smart enough to look at the confirmation email to check. UPS didn't even have someone sign for it, just dumped it. Guess I could have just called UPS and have them come back and get it, thought I was being neighborly by leaving by the door.

Two weeks later, finders keepers sucker.

Has anyone read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian?

I'm preparing an introductory lesson/activity for the book for class.

It's funny. You'll enjoy it.

It's a YA novel but I think adults will enjoy it too.

Damn you Keb. I currently have a stack of books on my side of the coffee table that I need to finish reading. You throwing out suggestions all willy-nilly is not conducive to me getting through that stack anytime soon! :smt013 :P

Hey Hey,

Bold newbie here. I'm at home taking care of a recovering wife and my 1-week old first kid. I thought everyone was exaggerating at least a little bit when they said you don't get any sleep.
My indie comic is finally released, you can check it out here.

If you want a digital copy, you can pick it up here

They were. I distinctly remember a lovely 28 minute nap at the eight month mark.

Welcome aboard, by the way!

Nope, not at all. My youngest is gonna be four next week and I still don't get any sleep.
