* Since the entirety of the Star Wars series is set a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away the highly secretive character played by Benicio del Toro is actually a much younger version of Taneleer Tivan, the character that he played in Guardians of the Galaxy. This is just one of many forthcoming Easter Eggs that will forever bridge the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the Star Wars universe.

* There will be a scene set between Episode VI and Episode VII that will depict the birth of Ben Solo, in which Han, a new proud father attempts to name his child. As he is getting ready to name the child, Luke swoops in and declares that the child's name will be Ben. Han will protest, claiming that a father should have a say in the name of his son, to which Luke will reply "Yes, I know, that's why the boy's name will be Ben!" Now we know why Han and Chewbacca were on their own and why Luke had to go into exile!

Alternate Micros
&
Story Notes
Xizor has the ability to influence others. It's not mind control but the pheromones he exudes makes them more... compliant.

At least while they're in the area.

I want to... tweak his abilities so that he has influence over several species, regardless of gender (instead of just the ladies, so he feels less rapey).

I'm picturing him a little like Purple Man from Jessica Jones.

Asajj Ventress... we would see her under Xizor's thrall. Not in an overtly sexual way, but more of a personal bodyguard way. Between his pheromones and the suppression of the Force, she's under his influence.

At some point, she escapes. Gets ahold of a pair of lightsabers. Changes out of the "slave" outfit. Goes back to get her revenge. All we see is a shot of the guard and then a shot of Ventress from behind, red lightsaber igniting.

Then later, we see the base engulfed in flames.

I wanted to leave her revenge a little vague (figured it would be better to leave it to people's imaginations) but it would be VERY "Kill Bill"-like.

Wedge... There's a reason he wasn't recognized after the Battle of Yavin. But now he's one of the most senior pilots in the Rebellion and a flight instructor.

Obviously I like the Rey Skywalker theory (Star Wars is a generational story, that "The Force is strong in my family. My father has it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power, too." line from the trailer, etc.)

And it just depends on Luke having sex and knocking up a girl after ROTJ, which isn't impossible.

But I also like the Rey Kenobi theory (similarities between Rey and Obi-Wan, Rey hearing Obi-Wan's voices, etc.)

It just depends on Obi-Wan having a secret affair of his own at some point and producing a child. Again, not impossible.

I'm going with a combination of the two, though. We get to see things come full circle with a Skywalker training a Kenobi (among other things) and this remains a family affair.

And she's still related to Kylo Ren.

It depends on Luke having a child (not impossible), Obi-Wan having a child (again, not impossible) and Luke Skywalker getting together with the child of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

That's a little more of a stretch but...

1) If we can buy a farm kid from Tatooine rescuing a princess from Alderaan who, despite the odds, winds up being his TWIN sister, is Luke meeting Kenobi's daughter really that unbelievable?

2) Remember that this is a universe with a Force that "surrounds us, penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together."

OBI-WAN: Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him.

LUKE: You mean it controls your actions?

OBI-WAN: Partially, but it also obeys your commands.

And it (thanks to Darth Plagueis or some shit), it knocked up Shimi Skywalker.

So mmmmmaayyybbbee Luke and this unnamed Kenobi daughter hooking up was the will of the Force, if you can't buy them beating the odds and getting together.

Phasma... I wasn't impressed with her. She didn't live up to the hype or the expectations of her as the "first female Star Wars villain"/"the next Boba Fett" by nagging Finn, lowering the shields and getting thrown into a trash compactor.

(Some folks are claiming that this supposedly badass trooper giving up so easily and her accent means that she's Rey's mom, but I don't see it).

So I'm having her superiors, disappointed in her performance at the Starkiller Base, demoting her (to Lieutenant Commander? I dunno) and promoting Nines in her place.

Of course, this just makes her eager and hungry to re-earn her position.

Black Sun is my gang of smugglers, mercenaries, criminals, killers, etc who occasionally work for the First Order/Empire.

I figure, if a character isn't a human, I've got a little more leeway with their aging and lifespan.

I'm trying to keep the number of Force users relatively low, but it'll probably be more than in the OT.

I want to show an evil military that's VERY capable and some animosity between them and the Sith.

My Rey is wearing one glove for a reason. ;)

That's... probably about it for now.

ImageImage

Luke Skywalker? Luke. Now there's a name I've not heard in a long, long time. A long time.

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

"You can call me... Old Master."

Image

"Traitor!"

ImageImageImageImage

"Hope is not lost today... it is found."

ImageImage

Demoted after the incident at Starkiller Base, Phasma is hungry for revenge.

Image

"When you inherited that ship, you took on certain obligations.
Certain... debts."

"The Force is strong in certain families.
My father had it.
I have it.
My sister has it.
And... you have it."

Angry at her father, ashamed of her grandfather... she instead embraces her mother's name.

ImageImageImageImage

"Who am I?
How bold of you, child of Skywalker. How... inquisitive.
It doesn't matter what names I have gone by.
The only thing YOU will call me is 'Master'.

Now kneel before me.
Rise and smite my enemies.

Or be destroyed."

ImageImage

"The Sith? They're a means to an end.
We'll work with them, let Snoke think he's in command... until this alliance of ours no longer benefits us."

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

(There's a reason she's in a recolored "Slave Leia" outfit and with Black Sun. Both her outfit and her allegiance would change by Episode IX)

ImageImageImageImage

"I always regrettedwhat happened at the Battle of Yavin.
Every day afterwards, I tried to make up for it. Tried to become a better pilot. A better person.
I got a second chance, a shot at redemption, at the Battle of Endor.
And now... I teach other young pilots. Help them become the best they can be."

ImageImageImage

"I have... ways of getting what I want."

ImageImageImageImageImage

Both the Empire and Black Sun make extensive use of the Ysalamir against the Jedi.

[img][/img]

"What’s an honorable Kyuzo like Constable Zuvio doing on a lawless planet like Jakku? The tough, taciturn Zuvio is the leader of Niima Outpost’s small militia, and keeps a wary yellow eye out for cheats, thieves and others bent on trouble. He is often found guarding Niima’s landing field, glowering at any local who strays too close to a visitor’s starship."

Then where was he when the Empire attacked? He was nowhere to be seen.

My thought is that, while he may be above bribery, there's other ways to control a man. Like threatening loved ones or endangering innocents.

And Zuvio knows that, if he refuses to cooperate, he'll be replaced with someone who isn't concerned with helping others. Reluctantly, he finds himself in Black Sun's pocket.

Yes, he looks the other way when asked, "fails" to capture certain criminals, etc. But he also sabotages them when he can and secretly does what he can to mitigate some of the damage done by them.

(He's like Lando in Cloud City, Detective Lance in Arrow, Harvey Bullock in Gotham, etc.)

"I'm no Jedi.
Jedi... Sith... I think there's another way."

"Believe it or not... I knew your father."

ImageImageImageImageImage

Cad Bane, who needs no introduction:

ImageImageImage

Ughok Snorg is in the business of breaking bones and business is good.

Of course, when you love what you do, it's not really "work"...

ImageImageImageImage

"Aarrragghuuhw raaaaaahhgh huurh uughghhhgh wrrhwrwwhw uughghhhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh aarrragghuuhw huuguughghg huurh aarrragghuuhw aaaaahnr hnnnhrrhhh huurh uuh raaaaaahhgh wrrhw raaaaaahhgh uughguughhhghghghhhgh raaaaaahhgh."

Still saddened by the loss of Han, Chewie takes Rey under his wing and helps her learn the truth about her family...)

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

ImageImage

Born the same day as Luke Skywalker, Ezra Bridger became a scavenger after the loss of his parents. Eventually he was taken in by a gang of Rebels and learned the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Kanan Jarrus.

Following directions from Master Yoda, Ezra, Kanan and Ahsoka eventually found themselves on the planet of Malachor. They became separated and Ezra met someone calling himself "The Old Master". The Old Master helped Ezra retrieve a Sith Holocron (a device capable of storing immense amounts of information).

Ezra assured his own Master that this "Old Master" could be trusted. That he could have let Ezra fall to his death, but rescued him instead.

And this Old Master could absolutely be trusted.
Until he couldn't.
And when he betrayed the Jedi, he also took Kanan's sight.

Ezra never forgave himself for that.
This anger inside him... was an opening for the Dark Side. And the Holocron opened for him, sharing it's secrets.

When Maul, the "Old Master", tracked them down next to retrieve the Holocron, he was able to defeat Kanan, but accidently damaged the Sith artifact. The Holocron began to upload everything into tge nearest vessel... which was Ezra.

The loss of his master further pushed Ezra further down the dark path he was already on. He was blinded by his need for revenge but almost went too far, endangering others to get to Maul.

Believing Maul dead at his hand (he's not the first Jedi to make that mistake), he found himself a target of the Emperor, thanks to the Sith secrets inside his head.

Captured by the Empire, Ezra was imprisoned and the Emperor and his agents tried making him talk/pulling the secrets from his mind. But after the death of the Emperor and the collapse of the Empire, the history of the Sith was less of a priority and Ezra was soon able to escape.

Knowing the sizeable bounty on his head and the power of those looking for him.... Ezra went underground. He recreated his lightsaber/blaster, found himself a helmet and pieces of armor and used them to fashion a new identity for himself.

Calling himself "Kir Kanos", Ezra lived a solitary life, chasing down criminals and protecting people from the Empire... until a familiar face from the past tracked him down..

Film Review: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

As the fate of the Jedi religion hangs in the balance, one begins to detect a certain unwillingness to stray too far from the official text in the latest 'Star Wars' sequel.

Full list of spoilers for Star Wars The Last Jedi

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
TLJ begins with The First Order attacking the Resistance’s headquarters on D’Quar. Poe disobeys Leia’s orders and leads an assault on General Hux’s star destroyer while the Resistance command flees into hyperspace. Meanwhile, in Ahch-To, Rey finds Luke and wants him to join the Resistance and train her. He refuses, but Rey is determined to persuade him.

Aboard the Supremacy, Supreme Leader Snoke reprimands Kylo Ren for the destruction of Starkiller Base. The First Order tracks the Resistance through hyperspace and Kylo leads a second attack. Leia is presumed dead alongside the other Resistance commanders, but survives as she reaches out in space as she starts to freeze over using The Force. Finn awakens during the battle and attempts to flee, but is stopped by mechanic Rose Tico. Her sister Paige was a pilot and died in the first assault.

Vice-Admiral Amilyn Holdo takes over the Resistance and reprimands Poe, who doesn’t trust her. The Resistance doesn’t have enough fuel for another hyperspace jump and settles into an abandoned rebel outpost on Crait. Finn and Rose devise a plan to locate the First Order’s hyperspace tracker so they can destroy it. Maz Kanata directs them to the Master Codebreaker for help, who can be found at Canto Bight, but they are arrested for trespassing and befriend a slicer, DJ, who agrees to help them. They escape on stolen horse-like creatures and befriend the stable boy who looks after them.

Rey senses the Force calling her to the cave where Luke keeps the sacred Jedi scrolls. Luke realizes that she is strong with the Force and begrudgingly decides to train her. Rey is connected with Kylo through the Force, and they can communicate telepathically. Rey finds out that Luke attempted to kill Kylo in his sleep when he sensed that Snoke was influencing Kylo. Kylo overpowered Luke and destroyed Luke’s Jedi Academy in a fit of rage.

Rey abandons Luke and leaves to meet Kylo, but he captures her and presents her to Snoke. He reveals that he created their connection in order to manipulate both, but Kylo doesn’t believe it. Snoke is strong with the dark side and orders Kylo to kill Rey, but he instead kills Snoke. Kylo and Rey then fight Snoke’s guards together.

Elsewhere the First Order is preparing an attack on Crait. DJ helps Finn and Rose infiltrate their ship, but betrays them. Finn and Rose are captured and tortured by Phasma. Before they are executed, Holdo kamikazes the Resistance’s ship into the First Order’s ship. Finn escapes and defeats Phasma in combat. She dies in an explosion.

Finn and Rose steal a ship and reunite with the Resistance. Meanwhile, Kylo seizes command of the First Order. Rey had a vision of him returning to the light, while Kylo had a vision of her falling to the dark. He tries to tempt her by revealing that her parents were random junk traders who sold her off, that she is meaningless to everyone but him and that they can rule the galaxy together, but Rey refuses and escapes in the Millennium Falcon with Chewie.

Back in Ahch-To, Luke is visited by the Force ghost of Yoda, who tells him that Rey is their only hope for a better future and Luke should leave the past behind. Yoda causes a lightning strike that destroys the sacred Jedi scrolls.

Kylo forces Hux to accept his leadership and prepares to destroy the Resistance with a massive cannon. Finn steals a ship and attempts to sacrifice himself to destroy it, but Rose knocks his ship off-course and does it instead. Finn pulls her out of the wreckage, she says she loves him, kisses him and then dies/goes into a coma.

Kylo orders another attack on the base when Luke shows up and repels the First Order. Kylo fights Luke, only to realize he’s an astral projection and that the real Luke is back in Ahch-To. It was all a ruse so Rey could evacuate the few surviving Resistance fighters, including Finn, Poe and Leia, into the Millennium Falcon and escape.

In Ahch-To, Luke stumbles outside his hut and dies while watching the sunrise. He vanishes becoming one with the Force. Both Rey and Leia sense that he's gone/died.

Kylo tries to communicate with Rey but she ignores him.

Poe reassures the survivors that there is still hope. Cut to the stable boy in Canto Bight who was told about the ideals of the Resistance by Rose, using the Force to call for his broom. There is a New Hope.
