Boba Fett is coming to San Diego Comic-Con in July, and he's bringing a friend.
One of the collectible toys that Hasbro will have available exclusively at the pop-culture event this year is a detailed 6-inch Boba Fett action figure from the new Star Wars Black Series. What's even better is that he comes packaged with two weapons, his iconic jet pack and the ultimate accessory: Han Solo frozen in carbonite.
Costume Designer Michael Kaplan has confirmed with Clothes on Film that he will be the costume designer for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII.

So while the proprietors were releasing their schedule for 2013 Comic-Con in San Diego next week, you were probably wondering – hey! Where’s all the new “Star Wars” hype and stuff? Answer: It will be at the Disney-controlled D23 Expo next month in Anaheim. Now that Disney owns the lucrative franchise, expect to see many more “Star Wars”-themed appearances at future D23 Expo events.
The 2013 D23 Expo will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center from August 9-11, 2013.
Disney has gone on a registration spree grabbing a collection of domain names for something called Star Wars Attack Squadrons.
Fusible reports that yesterday Disney registered 24 domain names that were all some version of the name Star Wars Attack Squadron. Outside of the name, there is no indication of what Attack Squadrons is. It could be anything having to do with Star Wars, like a new movie, TV show, theme park ride, or a video game.
"We have partnered with Walt Disney and LucasFilm to develop a whole new generation of Star Wars games for the console as well as for mobile and handheld devices," said EA CFO Blake Jorgensen. "The first game that we're focused on is Battlefront. It's a traditional game that's done extremely well and this will most likely come out around the same time as the Star Wars movies start to come out, probably in the summer of '15.
