Plot synopsis here.

There’s an old legend about 5 mysterious keys. Once these five keys are gathered, one can find the Greatest Power in space.

The Gokaigers, who left Earth to destroy Zangyack, are now back on Earth with a black Gokai Galleon, the sail even has a Zangyack emblem. The original red Gokai Galleon was destroyed in Zangyack’s homeplanet. . The Gokaigers are now working with Zangyack. The Go-Busters realize they have to fight the evil Zangyack and the Gokaiger crew. As they fight, the Gokaigers Gokai Change in both Goggle V and Timeranger.

The Go-Busters manages to capture Navi, and they find out that the Vaglass are also working with Zangyack. They are also told that they have to travel back in time. Thus Yoko and J head back to the Edo-era. There they meet Rat Boy (Nezumi Kozo) a Japanese thief and folk hero. Turns out that Rat Boy is actually Gai! Gai informs them that he’s there to help them, and since they are the 36th Super Sentai they have to show Gai some more respect.

Go-Busters VS Gokaiger will be released in Japanese theaters January 19, 2013.

Confirmed

Jūden Sentai Kyōryūger Super Sentai Series Revealed

Scott Hards, the founder and CEO of the HobbyLink Japan retail website, revealed on his Twitter account on Wednesday that Bandai announced the Jūden Sentai Kyōryūger super sentai series during a recent character debut event. Hards noted that the show will be an upbeat and fun show with lots of music. Hards also noted that the series will have five rangers to start with: red, green, black, blue, and pink. There will be one female ranger, and each ranger will have an associated dinosaur mech.

Yeah. And they look too much like Jyuranger (original Power Rangers) to me.

Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot - The Complete Series IS coming to DVD, but not from MGM, and not as an MOD title. A brand-new Amazon listing shows that Shout! Factory has licensed this title, and is releasing it through traditional in-store distribution starting March 26th. It will cost $39.97 SRP.

Sion Sono, the director of warped, disturbing and often acclaimed films like Cold Fish, Suicide Circle, Love Exposure and the adaptation of manga Himizu, has been announced as the director of the recently revealed live-action TV series based on Detroit Metal City author Kiminori Wakasugi's comedy manga Minna! Esper Dayo! (Everyone is an ESPer).

Kamen Rider Beats James Bond in Japanese Box Office

A week after Skyfall usurped Evangelion 3.0 at the top of the Japanese box office, Bond has been beaten by the latest Kamen Rider flick. For the weekend of December 8th/9th, Eva fell to #4 behind Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War ULTIMATUM, Skyfall, and the live-action adaptation of shoujo manga Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu.

Yeah, they do look like Zyranger. But I thought the ninja series look similar too.
